Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We have 3 acres right in the middle of town in New Smyrna Beach. It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We've worked hard to make it a cozy retreat - like setting where people can spend a few nights in an affordable manner just 5 minutes from the beaches and fun New Smyrna Beach attractions. Biking, boating, sunning, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, eating... all within a few minutes of your quiet retreat. Our house is on the property but it's 200 feet away behind trees/bushes. Most site have water and pwr which is a plus. No issues with no see ums at all in late sept. I had a spot all the way in the back that was secluded and quiet. If you not use to train noise then take a sleeping pill there are trains that pass by at any hour and the horn is loud. Overall it's a great quiet location not to far from the beaches. To drive on the beach is 32 bucks for non-residents. Craig and his wife are real cool.

I recently had the pleasure of using Hi-Camp for my first camping experience, and it was truly exceptional! Kennedy and Kristina were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kennedy, in particular, graciously waited for us to arrive well past our scheduled check-in time, providing us with a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the campsite. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the lake waves was just what I needed to unwind. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway experience. I highly recommend Kennedy’s Land to anyone looking for a serene escape into nature!

This is a great spot! Incredibly relaxing and full of fresh air. I loved laying out on the deck, fishing, and having a safe place to spend the night with nature on the other side of the door. The site comes plenty of amenities (hot shower, window AC units, indoor plumbing, stovetop burners, microwave, and fridge among other things). The owners have done a great job decorating the place, making functional and comfortable living spaces, and are just genuinely nice and sweet people. I had a great time and will be back!
