There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Weekend Trip to True Trail Farm

We were looking for a fun place to take our grandkids for their first camping experience and The Goat Farm did not disappoint! Mike and Kathryn were gracious and fun hosts. The kids loved getting to feed and play with all the animals, especially baby Tiger Lily, and hunting for bowling balls!. We might make it an annual trip so we can see the animals grow up and grow in numbers.

This place was awesome! This was my first time using hipcamp and it was a blast. The sites were nice and quant, it was real peaceful, you can walk around and hike the property at your leisure, everyone was very friendly Jimmy was awesome very communicative and got us everything we needed. The campground has 4-5 camping spots. This allows each camper a sense of privacy and separation from the other sites. It is very peaceful and being able to interact with the animals is very special. The bathroom and shower were a welcome addition. Kathryn is a great host who is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed sitting by the campfire and by the goat pen talking together. She and Mike were very willing to help when I needed an extra pair of hands. They also told me about special events, like the annual Dog Parade and the weekly flea market.

Little bit of our farm life was such a great site! My kids and I had an amazing experience. We camped for two nights and had the entire place to ourselves. The camping area was clean, so was the port-o-potty, and shower. My kids and I got to run around and play kickball. Every morning we were woken up by the cutest farm animals, and greeted by two beautiful pups that joined my kids in playing ball. The owners of the farm are very nice and were quick to respond to all messages. One of the best parts of our entire trip was the farm tour given by Olivia. She was very informative and patient with my inquisitive six-year-old and gave us extra time with Archie, the Highland cow (my kids had to pull me away from him) and all of the goats who my kids fell in love with in fact, I had to promise my kids that we'd come back when the mama goat Addie gave birth to see the kids. I definitely recommend this site and we will be back very soon.

This was my second time staying at Relic Ranch. I definitely recommend this spot If you’re into primitive camping and if you want to get away for a few days next. The farm is a really nice feature for the kids to roam around and interact with the animals and the hosts are super nice and very welcoming. Totally recommend!

This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

If you are having a rough week, load up and relax on our working farm filled with miniature horses and numerous other adorable miniature animals that will be sure to put a smile on your face. Pack your camping gear, tents, vans or RVs and find peace away from the traffic and everyday stress. There is plenty of nature and you can take a long stroll to clear your head. Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground is across the street. 20-30 min to Daytona Beach or historic St.Augustine. A little over an hour to Orlando with Disney, Universal and other parks, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. Whatever your interest is - you can find it around - many of restaurants, wine tasting, fresh food market 7 days a week, NASCAR, Auditorium with performances, water sports, bike week, movie theater, and many more. We have a water and electricity hook ups for 4 spots. Spaces for the boats are available also. No sewage disposal.There is a dog on the property. Dogs are ok but have to be cleaned after and be on the leash.Please no loud noise after the dark, no drugs or heavy drinking.Our guests love staying with us " We enjoyed our stay at Roxie’s place. Really great location close to the beach and grocery stores and restaurants, yet it is still in a quiet place just off the beaten path. Roxie is a wonderful host who met us upon arrival and departure to make sure all was going well. She even gave us some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens that roam freely on the land. (Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."
