We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats:
Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail.
A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach.
Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that.
Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people.

If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!

Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. So if you would enjoy visiting our beautiful getaway we would love to have you and we strive to show all our guest how much we appreciate them visiting. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents,

during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it.

You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night...
We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking!
If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!
We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store !
We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231.
We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location!

Some stay over on the way to the beach or southern Florida and revisit on their way back home and even some end up staying for a couple of days when they are surprised at all there is to do. Also inquire about snowbirding or a possible work camp opportunity. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress, have 2 beautiful cypress ponds full of waterfowl and fish. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. So if you would enjoy visiting our beautiful getaway we would love to have you and we strive to show all our guest how much we appreciate them visiting. If you love the outdoors, God and all the great things he has placed here for us to enjoy and a little time to relax please give us a shot and visit our tree farm "Come watch us grow family memories"

Brian and his wife were fantastic hosts even when a little maintenance popped up… they were quick to deal with it with a calm manner and all is well. The property entrance and exit took some getting used to but the added security being inside of a locked gate was something we enjoyed at night. Will definitely keep this place in mind for the next trip!

Sand Between Your Toes was a fantastic place to stay. Even though the owner lives on site, the property felt very private, quiet, and secure. It’s centrally located and closer to the Rosemary Beach end—which we preferred anyway.
While exploring the area, we drove past several RV campgrounds where people were packed in tightly, which made us even more appreciative of our choice. Staying at Sand Between Your Toes was absolutely the right decision.
The driveway entrance is on an incline and a bit narrow, but Brian suggested backing down the road and approaching it at an angle, which worked perfectly—we had no issues at all. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend it.

I booked Sheila's RV spot #1 near the pavilion about two hours before my 9pm arrival. I was on a long road trip and getting tired, so I was grateful for the ability to instant book the site and even more grateful when she responded right away letting me know she'd turned the lights on for me.
The place is beautiful. The RV spot and pavilion are right next to the river which is surrounded by lush vegetation and a sandy shoreline. It was really picturesque and peaceful. The pavilion has electricity with a sink, a fully enclosed toilet room, and an outdoor shower. If I'd had more time, I would have loved to spend more time there.... especially if I was traveling with friends and family.
As a solo traveler, I got a little spooked by the series of long, dark, and windy roads between the main highway and the property... especially because cell service was spotty. So while it's perfect because it's remote, I'd encourage solo travelers to arrive before sundown.

Maggie and Mike are spectacular hosts going to extra mile when you stay. They are musicians so I was fortunate enough to turn up when they had a concert on in their yard. The provided food and refreshments.
Very helpful and thoughtful people. We had great conversations about food and swapped a curry I made for some fresh honey from their hives.
Leto could go off leash and the site is easy to enter and exit. Would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

Larry and his wife are great hosts. We stayed in site 1 and were the only campers on site. The sites are relatively close together so if the campground is full, privacy would be limited. Beautiful land and a unique set up. We will return.

This was our first Hipcamp experience. It was in a perfect location to visit with our grandson which is close to the Naval Diving School. Ocean is eight minutes away, and a two minute walk to Lake Powell. Restaurants and stores are close also. The RV spot was very nice. This is a back in spot which the whole yard is fenced. They do live in a RV on the lot while building their little home. Brian was very helpful with any questions we had. We stayed six nights and will book again when in area.

Do you like to fish? Maybe just play with your water toys? This is your spot! The nearby (quiet) boat ramp with easy access to the bay or sound is a major bonus. Beaches, downtown, shopping all just mins away. Clean and tidy spot with a cozy bench and nice little fire pit. Would definitely book here again.
