100 Beautiful acres, over 5 miles of walking trails, whether you considered stopping for a night or staying longer HCF loves our guest. Some stay over on the way to the beach or southern Florida and revisit on their way back home and even some end up staying for a couple of days when they are surprised at all there is to do. Also inquire about snowbirding or a possible work camp opportunity. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress, have 2 beautiful cypress ponds full of waterfowl and fish. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. So if you would enjoy visiting our beautiful getaway we would love to have you and we strive to show all our guest how much we appreciate them visiting. We are across the street from the beach, a short 5-minute walk. Heated pool. Clean bathhouses. Laundromat and fitness room. We are just minutes away from St. Andrews State Park. We absolutely loved our stay at Hidden Oak RV 1 at Brinn Farm.
This is one of those rare places where the photos are beautiful — but the experience is even better in person.
The site sits beside a stocked pond under a massive live oak, surrounded by wooded acreage. After check-in, we didn’t see another person the entire stay. It truly feels private, peaceful, and tucked away.
The hosts were outstanding. We received a full orientation when we arrived, and they checked in by text during our stay to make sure everything was going well. You can tell they genuinely care about their property and their guests.
The site itself is spacious and level. Full hookups worked perfectly, and everything was excellently maintained.
What really sets this place apart is the natural soundscape. At night we heard coyotes in the distance and frogs near the pond. During the day, birds at sunrise, fish jumping in the water, and even cows and peacocks off in the distance. It’s immersive in a way that’s hard to capture in photos.
I needed to work remotely one day, and my Starlink mini worked flawlessly — so it’s a great option if you need to blend work with a quiet retreat.
If you’re looking for privacy, nature, and thoughtful hosts, this is an exceptional Hipcamp and I would not hesitate to book it. We will absolutely stay again.

We had a very nice stay here. It’s a rural area so it’s relatively quiet. I would suggest somehow addressing the multiple fire ant mounds and adding a trash can of some sort. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Our camping experience was awesome. Patrick’s Dad Pat met us at the entrance to the property and led us to a beautiful secluded spot. He also drove me around property to get me acquainted to the many acres available for walks. The property was extremely well maintained. It was renewing to have such a quiet property to enjoy walks, fishing (if interested) and star gazing. Everything as far as hookups was easy and we so enjoyed listening to birds, reading and relaxing. No cell service or WiFi but you will not miss it if you want to enjoy nature and solitude. We definitely would return for future visits.

Lots of room for our 36 foot fifth wheel and truck. Easy in and out access. The utilities are as stated. It is basically in a back yard setting. It was nice to have our camper covered. I found it a little more crowded than what the pictures showed. But I would definitely stay there again.

This campground has way more to offer than they advertise. It is a diamond in the rough. It is ocean front with a pool and a hot tub. They have a clubhouse with daily activities and programs and we even had a bowl of chili one night. It is quaint and their are long term as well as short term renters there. The bath house is small but clean. There is even a family bath which is good if you have kids with you. There is a dog park and play ground. It has alot to offer.

Very nice site! Covered is a nice plus in the Florida heat/sun! Full hook up including sewer! Wayne is a great host and answers any questions very quickly. Site is quiet, and convenient to our activities across the bay (we went into Miramar Beach/Destin). We plan to stay here again! Highly recommend this site!

Everything was super clean, the laundry room was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the activities they planned daily. We really enjoyed the outdoor movie night looking out over the water. The highlight of the trip was putting our kayaks in the water right from the campground and watching the sunset out on the water. The camp store was stocked with anything we might need and the beach was only a short drive. We will definitely return.

Definitely will be back again!! Patrick met us and helped us get all setup and made sure everything was good before leaving. Had the best time, so peaceful and private. Never left the site. Caught small bass and beautiful bream. Seen deer and lots of ducks. If you are looking for a restful and private retreat then this is the spot for sure!!

Wayne was a great host and takes good care of the property. The covered parking is bigger in person and leaves plenty of room for outdoor picnicking next to your trailer rain or shine. Being able to pull through in and out was very nice. Also there's almost no light pollution so the stars really come out at night!

Where to go
DeFuniak Springs Surrounds
About 15 minutes east of town, the Ponce De Leon State Park allows visitors to swim in its 68°F spring waters. Morrison Springs County Park is also a great spring site for swimming and diving.
Econfina Creek Wildlife Management Area
This wildlife preserve east of DeFuniak Springs and just north of Panama City has a 14-mile stretch of the Florida Trail for hikers to explore. Birders come looking to spot bald eagles, osprey, kestrels, and warblers, while the spring-fed Econfina Creek is popular with kayak and canoe paddlers, and sites like Pitt and Sylvan Springs are accessible for swimming.
Falling Waters State Park
Forty minutes east of DeFuniak Springs, Falling Waters State Park is home to Florida’s tallest waterfall. The peaceful forested campground offers campsites with picnic tables and fire rings.
Gulf Beaches
DeFuniak is about an hour from an excellent stretch of Gulf Coast beaches with warm water and white quartz sand. Henderson Beach State Park in Destin has 30-foot sand dunes, while Grayton Beach State Park near Seaside features freshwater dune lakes and hiking trails. Both parks have campgrounds and great beaches for sunbathing. An offshore artificial reef system creates numerous opportunities for snorkelers and scuba divers to gaze at tropical fish—Destin has a variety of rental shops.
When to go
DeFuniak is a bit more seasonal than parts of Florida further south—winter low temps are in the upper forties, and summer high temps have a bit less bite and humidity. This makes for solid year-round camping, but make sure you have warm gear in winter and rain protection year-round. During hurricane season in summer and fall, Florida campers should keep an eye on the National Hurricane Center’s Atlantic Outlook to avoid any potential storms.
