There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Love this campsite! If you are not confident you can go camping in a tent but want to try, this is the spot for you! Includes electric and bathrooms and firewood and chairs. The place is private and cozy and clean.

The host's were very kind and understanding. The site is clean and they supply you with wood. I hope they can forgive our little inconvenience that was unfortunately unavoidable. Thanks for everything.

2 nights at La Quinta Bonita Homestead

Kelley & Vic were very hospitable to us; we enjoyed the tour of their property, as well as the homemade bread and eggs we were able to purchase from their homestead. They also had great recommendations for us regarding nearby outdoor recreation areas. We thoroughly enjoyed Ravine Gardens State Park and visiting Angels Diner in Palatka. We comfortably fit two adults in the camper, and we’re grateful that the other adult who came with us had an in-car camping set up. It would have been very, very tight had all three of us needed to fit in the camper. We’d recommended no more than two for the camper. Camper did have a neat cooler/fridge inside that was spacious! The outdoor shower was amazing - all three of us absolutely loved it! And the fact that warm water was accessible was a win. The water got up to about 88 degrees or so. The compostable toilet was inside a small tent and cleaned daily. It felt slightly on display just with how close it was to the fire pit, but was convenient and easy to access. The fire pit was the perfect size, and tons of wood was supplied ($10/night). Our favorite part was hanging out around the fire pit during the evenings under the stars. TONS of stars, and beautiful wind blowing through the trees. Lots of fun animal sounds too! If you plan to cook over the fire, be sure to bring your own tools and equipment. All in all, great experience! We’d go again and are looking forward to seeing how Kelley and Vic continue to grow their homestead!

Easy area to park the RV and extra vehicle. Very natural setting that really felt like Florida. Dogs were happy to be off leash. Owners were kind and friendly.

Very invite and cool place making you feel like you are out in the wild being so close to anything you need. Host Julie was super nice and helpful. Would recommend for a night or weekend stay.

Craig was such a wonderful host, he told us about a rocket lauch to see from the streat and a few other remarkable things. The place is equipped with 30/50 amp., water and sewer. And a very good italien restaurant around the corner 👍😄 Absolutely great, thanks to Graig and Lauren. Highly recommended.

I loved this hipcamp so much. It is very close to the north entrance into Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve. So much to do around that area. I travel in a Ford Transit van and I had my little area of the yard with picnic table and fire ring.

2 nights at Runaway Bay Lodge

We will definitely be coming back to explore. Oh my goodness. My partner and I have been disheartened with the state of the world and working multiple jobs and moving and my daughter and I have been having health issues. So we just really needed some rest and mental peace. Kennedy was such a sweet awesome human and the space was everything anticipated. Nothing like a naked nap by the water ✌️ 🤤

7 nights at A bit of paradise camping

We had a beautiful spot overlooking the Indian River and directly across from Kennedy Space Center. We got to see a satellite launch and we’re visited by dolphins while enjoying our coffee on the dock. David was very accommodating without being intrusive and provided access to an indoor bathroom with hot shower. This site was a little hard to locate so get there before dark. Individual sites were not really marked but wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones there

Weekend Trip to Patmos Island

Perfect site for our weekend getaway! Host was fantastic with providing all the info needed for a smooth check in. Full hook ups are always a plus. Neighborhood was great for a relaxing walk with our pup. Location was top notch! Can’t wait to return.

2 nights at Waterfront Island Bungalow

My husband and i have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other and decided to celebrate them at Cristina’s property. The WiFi password hints at getting off your devices and we took that advice to heart. Naps, reading, walks/exploration, bike rides, wild animals, farm animals (including the friendliest kitty), sunsets, and sunrises was the prescription and the Waterfront Island Bungalow delivered. On top of that, Cristina and Ed were gracious and welcoming hosts. If you are looking to relax and unplug, this should be your destination. We’ll be back.

2 nights at Camp Shiloh

This spot was great, it was nice and flat, provided electric hookup, privy was nice and in the woods. Troy was always responsive and wife Valerie meet us at site. This is really close to Merritt Island wild refuge.

Weekend Trip to Camp Shiloh

We went tent camping at Troy and Valerie’s place and enjoyed our time there! The site was prepped and ready for our arrival. The lights they have around the site made a huge difference with being able to see around. The privy was a short walk away and the campfire ring was bigger than we saw in the pictures. It’s only about 15min to New Smyrna Beach where there is plenty of things to do to pass the time if need be. Troy and Valerie were easily contacted through the HipCamp app and were friendly. Thank you for the use of your site!!!

2 nights at Waterfront Island Bungalow

This was an outstanding experience. The hosts are kind, intentional, and organized while the cat, goats, ducks & chickens fill out an ensemble cast. It isn’t exactly an “old Florida” vibe but both Publix & Whole Foods are over an hour (plus a boat ride) away. Amaze your followers with the words “secluded cabin on a private island” but be prepared to bring your own mimosas and canapés.

Camp Shiloh

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We've worked hard to make it a cozy retreat - like setting where people can spend a few nights in an affordable manner just 5 minutes from the beaches and fun New Smyrna Beach attractions. Biking, boating, sunning, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, eating... all within a few minutes of your quiet retreat. Our house is on the property but it's 200 feet away behind trees/bushes. It's a 100 year old house built from the wood of a church in NSB. Lifted up on a Coquina rock wall it is quite unique. There is a large secluded area where your dogs can be run. We have dogs too but there's plenty of room to share.

We are surrounded by wildlife native to Florida including bears, coyote, bobcats, alligators, raccoons and many more. The area is fenced in. The campsite is approximately 1000ft from the road but some traffic may be heard during peak hours. A Paved walking and cycling trail leads to boomba sports complex, the environmental center, and Lake Jessup in one direction and big tree park in the other. The trail is part of the cross seminole trail system.
