The Property is an old Spanish land grant, originally owned by the Sanchez Family, which used to be a large cattle family in the State of Florida. Today, under our ownership since the late 40s, the Ranch has never been developed or timbered in any large measure. Original heart pine forests, oak groves, and wetlands pepper the entire tract. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development. Our Ranch is more of a natural preserve than a farm, and it is our aim to share it in limited measure with the public.

The Property is an old Spanish land grant, originally owned by the Sanchez Family, which used to be a large cattle family in the State of Florida. Today, under our ownership since the late 40s, the Ranch has never been developed or timbered in any large measure. Original heart pine forests, oak groves, and wetlands pepper the entire tract. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development. Our Ranch is more of a natural preserve than a farm, and it is our aim to share it in limited measure with the public.

Sutton River Ranch provides access directly alongside the Suwannee River in Florida. The property is accessible by road or by river. You'll get to enjoy the best of both worlds when it comes to land or water adventure. Kick-back and enjoy the natural surroundings of paved walkways and wild animal crossings or a walk along the paved roads. Alternatively, spark joy by jumping into the cool spring-fed waters of the Suwannee River (no alligators!) and the pristine waters of nearby springs (Turtle Springs 2 miles, Rock Bluff Springs 5 miles or Ichetucknee Springs 20 miles). There are 9 total springs within the county. The spacious 90 foot floating dock located on property is a great place to soak in the sun, put a kayak in, watch a sunset or take a plunge. Lee Anne and Michael were very accommodating and we enjoyed chatting with them about local activities and restaurants etc. loved the car show that they participated and invited us too. Our dogs had fun running and playing together too .
The camper was clean and well equipped with everything you would need. Nature walk around the property was great. Location was private and off the beaten path. We had lots in common when us which made for great conversation!

If you were thinking about it, just book it. Had the best time with my family. Joshua answered very quickly when I messaged. I just recommended this to a friend who booked his own stay for his family. The RV was insanely cool, the grill is full size and a perfect addition. Joshua really thought of everything. You only need to bring what you want to cook with. There was a little coffee station, utensils, and pots and pans. The fireplace was a great touch just maybe buy some extra wood and babysit the fire for a little bit, which I didn’t do so it kept going out. Other than that, can’t wait to come back!
