Our sites are large and secluded.
We are 10 minutes from the white sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Bring your boat if you like to fish. We are 3 minutes from the boat ramp which accommodates boats large and small to access off shore fishing at the Inlet or flats fishing at Mosquito Lagoon.
If you are a motorcycle enthusiast we are 30 minutes from Daytona Speedway and NSB Speedway. Kayak and surfing with your own or rentals are available.
All the popular attractions are one hour drive time from us. There are 5 Golf Courses in NSB as well as an array of fine dining, art shows and of course lots of sunshine.

Your children will love our two friendly, playful Australian sheepdogs May and Lily. 4 Camp sites are set at the back of the property under oak trees. Bathroom and cooking amenities are less then 2 minutes from sites. You are just 5 miles from grocery stores and shopping, but we have the feel of being in the country. Beaches, State Parks with springs and all the central Florida attractions are within an hour drive or less. You are free to roam the fields and select vegetables and herbs to prepare in your meals or you can take a stroll in beautiful downtown DeLand (recently voted best downtown in America) and take in a nice meal.
A few things to note.
1. Cumber site is large enough for tent camping only.
2. We allow only one vehicle per campsite but there is additional parking at the front of the property about 250 feet from the sites.
3. No open fires are permitted at the campsite due to the proximity of the greenhouses. We do have a screened in fire pit that is free to use.
4. If at all possible, please no check-ins after 11 p.m. This is a working farm, and we have to get up early. If you absolutely cannot get here by then let us know in advance and we will work with you.
5. NO RV"S OR FIFTH WHEELS! We do not have 30amp electric service and the sites were not designed for large vehicles. Pop up campers and vans are ok as long as you do not need 30 amp electric.

bought this hidden gem located outside Orlando on 12 acres of land. The existing barn, a 12000 sqft building was overgrown, not visible from the road and ready for demolition. The owners were able to save the construction, which is now being build up to code as their new home.
They call it "The Promise", and right now they live on the construction site in a camper, building on their vision, ready to welcome people who wants to pitch their tents on The Promised Land.

Upon arrival, you will find a quaint and cozy corner to relax and enjoy a tropical getaway in beautiful New Smyrna Beach. 5 minutes from downtown NSB, 10 minutes from the white sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean where you can drive on parts of the beach and have access to a dog beach. There is plenty to do at the beach and surrounding waterways, including surfing, both fresh and saltwater fishing, hiking, kayaking, and biking. We are 25 minutes from Daytona International Speedway. Disney, Universal and Sea World are about an hour to an hour and a half away. Kennedy Space center is 45 minutes away so you're likely to see a launch during your visit. Plus, there are 5 golf courses within 15 minutes. Tons of delicious restaurants in the area.
The Ocala National Forrest is a 20-minute drive away at the closest entrance, with plenty of off-road driving and outdoor activities available. Merrit Island National Preserve is 30 minutes South, where you can see the Manatee, or take a hike, put in the kayaks. Sugar Mill restaurant that has boat tours is 30 minutes to the West...DeLand was voted best small town in 2022. There is a park within a 5-minute walk with skating, basketball, tennis, racquetball and a playground.
We're starting off with a low nightly rate until we get some reviews and bookings under our belt, then will increase with comps in the area. Minimum 2-night stay.
Check in is after 4 pm and check out is before Noon. Please keep in mind that our quiet hours are after 10pm. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towels! Homeowner on site.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the river, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space age pushed forward into the future.However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! Cozy Freedom

Perfect spot to set up and enjoy Florida's great outdoors! Convenient to Atlantic Ocean, fresh water springs, state forest and more. If you're in town for an event, come and go day or night.
Historically, Cozy Freedom was occupied by the Timucuan Indians who hunted the forest and swamp land. More recent history of the property included a plant nursery and beekeeping location.
Now, surrounded by horse farms and state forest, nature abounds. There's organic produce growing in fall, winter and spring. Ornamental nursery items are also being propagated. We have citrus trees and blueberry bushes, ginger and turmeric. Resident bats help with the mosquitos. Our friendly four-legged friends romp around and are all very loveable. The newest feature on the property is a 11-circuit walking labyrinth.

A serene location with 33,000 acres of state forest backing up to the property, an 11-mile direct run east into the Atlantic Ocean, and less than an hour from spectacular blue-water springs. Day trips to St. Augustine, Orlando, Cape Canaveral and Ocala. Visit local Old Florida sites nearby, including Bulow Plantation Ruins, Tomoka State Park, and Barberville Pioneer Settlement. Take a day to hike or bike out in Tiger Bay State Forest without having to drive off the farm, or enjoy just hanging out on the farm.
Outdoor kitchen, hot/cold private shower and designated campsites on 8+ acres. Working produce/nursery farm. Electric and water available at all designated sites and options available for dispersed tent sites without access to electric and water.
Wintertime is peaceful and ideal for camping in Florida. We do have some nights that drop into the 30's, but most days are perfect to be outside. Summers are hot and wet and mosquitos will drive you inside from mid-June through to the end of August. Enjoy staying put on the farm or safely leaving your belongings while visiting the sights in the area. Someone is always nearby onsite, but privacy is respected. Property is situated on a thoroughfare between Ocala and Ormond Beach with audible traffic, so not ideal for individuals seeking absolute silence.
