Amazing place to camp and explore a farm full of animals and crops. The host Andrea is also an absolutely inspirational person, her and her husband Michael are running a whole operation. I got a tour of the farm from Andrea when I arrived and it was immediately obvious how passionate, dedicated, and informed she was about every detail. And hearing about all the shenanigans the animals cause felt like getting a recap of a reality show lol. Also the bathroom amazing! It’s literally nicer than any hotel bathroom I’ve been at. Will definitely be back with friends!

1 night at Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary

Andrea and Michael have created a sweet little spot complete with many well-cared for animals! I got in late so decided to purchase some wood for ease of starting a fire and it was well-seasoned and easy to start. The bathroom was great to grab a hot shower before continuing on with travels. The only lowlight was the nearby road sound. I imagine in an RV or lodging it is probably not really heard but in a tent, I had a tough time blocking it out. All in, it provided a great place for me to stop along my travels up the coast.

We spent two nights here and had a great time- we enjoyed meeting their dogs, the cats they feed, and the farm animals, and the bath house honestly looks nicer than many full on hotels I’ve stayed in before. Michael and Andrea are really welcoming and kind hosts and you can tell they really want campers staying on their land to have a good time. Both went out of their way to introduce themselves and make sure we were comfortable. We had mentioned in passing that we were there to do some birding and came back to an article on the best birding spots in the area printed and left at our tent, which was really thoughtful! We bought some of their eggs and they are delicious

We had a great time tent camping at the Huck and Buck farm. Plenty of space for our dog and we enjoyed the firewood option. The bathroom was awesome and we got a great tour of the farm! Would definitely go back!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary, and I must say it was an incredibly relaxing and heartwarming experience. This unique "bring your own tent" retreat offers a peaceful escape where you can connect with nature and, most importantly, some of the sweetest farm animals I've ever met.The highlight of my stay was definitely the animals. I spent hours interacting with the chickens, whose beautiful and vibrant feathers made each one feel like a work of art. The large turkeys were such characters—so talkative and full of personality! I had so much fun just listening to their distinctive calls.The ducks were absolutely lovable, and the goats were friendly, playful, and so photogenic! Of course, I can’t forget the pigs—especially the big, friendly ones that seemed to just want belly rubs all day long. But the true star of the show for me was the adorable little pot-bellied pig, who I couldn’t resist renaming "Oreo" due to his charming personality and color.The farm also had some sweet, curious cats roaming around, and I had a few delightful encounters with them. And let's not forget the pond duck—so cute and peaceful, adding to the serene atmosphere of the whole place.As for the facilities, I was beyond impressed with the bathroom! It was so luxurious and cozy, with a warm, welcoming vibe, complete with little good luck charms scattered around. It was a small detail, but it added to the overall sense of comfort and care the farm provides.

I loved tent camping at Huck & Buck. Andrea was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in preparation for a pretty cold night. The bathroom is pristine and a nice touch if you need to ease into tent camping. We loved being able to see the animals and watch them play around. I highly recommend booking this space!

You can also see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.) 5. What's the history of the ranch? The property is a horse stable and animal rescue for two decades. Local students take weekly horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and other activities. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool that's sold yearly. 6. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street. 7. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You'll need to be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the barndominium. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the barndominium. 8. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals and cleanings, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. 9. Are activities for children a different price than adults? All of our on-site activities are the same price for everyone. 10. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with nearby guardian livestock. 11. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The Swedish Cowboy space is located inside a barn and smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while inside the barn house or directly outside. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the stable.) 12. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without a code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here. 13. This home sleeps 4 guests *including* babies and children. Have more than 4? Add 5th, and 6th guests for $25.00 for each additional person for your stay. We do not accommodate more than 6 guests max. 14. What are the checkout procedures? (Keep in mind elements out of our control like wind, dust, and pollen counts can make the Stargazer yurt roof less clear.) The Painted Pony yurt, has a regular canvas roof and sits in the shade. Both yurts have 3-speed fans included and do not have AC or heat. 5. Extra guests in the yurt? The yurts have a strict 2-guest-only policy. 6. Can friends (not on my reservation) come visit me? No. All visitors here must be registered guests as the public is not granted access here. 7. How far is the beach? North Ocean City, MD and Fenwick Island DE are both only 5-6 miles away. 8. How secure is the camping area? There is a coded entrance gate at the property entrance along with 6 outdoor security cameras that stay on 24 hours a day for guest and livestock safety. The locations are 2 at the entrance gate, barn house entrance/building overhang, tiny house entrance, horse grooming area, parking area, and inside the stables. These outdoor cameras also record at night and are available for any emergency services to review. 9. Are there animals nearby? Yes! Cowtown is named after our unique Scottish Highland bull with one horn up and one down. You'll see “Herbie” peacefully grazing in a nearby pasture along with horses, goats, an alpaca, a sheep, a rare curly-haired pig, a peacock, and fancy top-hat chickens that all call the ranch home. 10. Participating in a guest activity is mandatory here. We have FREE indoor scavenger hunts and the FREE Name Challenge memory game. Our most popular experience is "Chores N' Tour” where you meet up with Shelley to feed and get up close and personal while feeding 20+ animals. Go ahead! take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca, play the rollover challenge with Charlotte the pig, and hay the jumping goats.
