Welcome to Camp Wilder! We are an off-the-beaten-path camp offering peace and solitude.
The cabin is very special to my family and me. It was passed down as a mining claim from my grandmother who founded it in the '60s. The vision for the land was simply perfect.
A small 10 x 10 cabin with the whole mountain to explore and whoever they wished to bring with them.
The town of Nederland is 10 minutes down the road where you can fish at Baker Reservoir. Lots of fun little stores in town to keep the family busy.
Wildlife is everywhere up by the cabin/campsite, always remember don't leave food lying around with lots of great things to look for around the magical town of Nederland.
The cabin sleeps up to 8 with the futon downstairs being very comfortable and 3" foam upstairs in the loft for more sleeping area. Bring your sleeping bags to stay cozy at night. There are lanterns inside to light up your night with a wood stove to keep you warm at night. The ground around it is sloped so you may have a hard time setting up any tents around the cabin.
The grocery store is in Nederland where you can buy food, Coleman green propane bottles, gallon jugs of water and wood. There is a 3 burner Coleman, stove to cook on with limited pots & pans as well as silverware.
Road disclaimer, the road to the cabin is one lane dirt road. The drive up to the cabin is pretty good but the turn onto the single dirt road to the cabin has a slight dip, if you have a low-clearance car it may bottom out when you are turning so be careful.
No Trailers. They will not be able to turn around once there.
Recommend vehicles with AWD. Go 3.4 miles up Caribou road. Turn right @ yellow stakes go .4 miles. Park on the left. Hike down to the cabin between yellow stakes.

Oh and quite possibly our rooster crowing ;) Hike into the National Forest off the property. Guided hikes can also be arranged for an additional fee. Or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet!
Plenty of other hiking trails nearby, creeks and Slaughterhouse Gulch for those that love a good 4WD adventure.
A propane fire-pit will be provided for you so you can still enjoy a nice campfire. A propane heater is also available for chilly nights or winter camping. The Greenhouse also includes a camp stove, a percolator for making coffee or tea, minimal cookware and silverware. Potable water will be provided along with coffee and tea. Fresh eggs from our chickens can also be made available upon request for a small fee.
Cots and a hammock are available for use in the Greenhouse, but you will have to bring your own sleeping mats, sleeping bags and pillows. Sleeping mats and sleeping bags on the floor are also an option if you choose. Picnic tables are close to the Greenhouse for enjoying time outdoors.
The Glamping in the Aspens Tent has a wood burning stove in it that will be available starting later season 2024. Firewood for the wood stove will be provided for you. Just outside the tent is a picnic table with BBQ grill and propane fire pit. There is a porch area with outdoor kitchen and a queen sized bed inside the tent. A comfy dog bed is also included.
A composting toilet is available for use. No showers currently available (Bath House coming soon).
Well behaved dogs are allowed, however, they must be on a leash or under voice command.
There are 2 dogs that live on the property as well as chickens, turkeys, and a cat. All will be contained so as not to disturb (except for the occasional rooster crow).

Enjoy a unique private mountain getaway! Stay in our Off-Grid Greenhouse. Sleep amongst the plants and under the stars! Or enjoy a luxurious stay in the Aspens in our Glamping Tent.
Located on a private, forested area of our modern, Off-Grid working homestead. This site offers you mountaintop views, plenty of aspens as well as pine trees and abundant wildlife passing through.
Leave the noise of the city behind and wake up to birds singing, hummingbirds buzzing by and potentially a moose or deer sighting. Oh and quite possibly our rooster crowing ;) Hike into the National Forest off the property. Guided hikes can also be arranged for an additional fee. Or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet!
Plenty of other hiking trails nearby, creeks and Slaughterhouse Gulch for those that love a good 4WD adventure.
A propane fire-pit will be provided for you so you can still enjoy a nice campfire. A propane heater is also available for chilly nights or winter camping. The Greenhouse also includes a camp stove, a percolator for making coffee or tea, minimal cookware and silverware. Potable water will be provided along with coffee and tea. Fresh eggs from our chickens can also be made available upon request for a small fee.
Cots and a hammock are available for use in the Greenhouse, but you will have to bring your own sleeping mats, sleeping bags and pillows. Sleeping mats and sleeping bags on the floor are also an option if you choose. Picnic tables are close to the Greenhouse for enjoying time outdoors.
The Glamping in the Aspens Tent has a wood burning stove in it that will be available starting later season 2024. Firewood for the wood stove will be provided for you. Just outside the tent is a picnic table with BBQ grill and propane fire pit. There is a porch area with outdoor kitchen and a queen sized bed inside the tent. A comfy dog bed is also included.
A composting toilet is available for use. No showers currently available (Bath House coming soon).
Well behaved dogs are allowed, however, they must be on a leash or under voice command.
There are 2 dogs that live on the property as well as chickens, turkeys, and a cat. All will be contained so as not to disturb (except for the occasional rooster crow).

A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp.
We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

Enjoy a stay in “Marian’s Fishing Hut” located just outside the town of Bailey, Colorado in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Just steps away from our tiny home in the making you can access miles of hiking trails in the Colorado National Forest! Currently the fishing hut has potable water, electricity, TV, DVD player, remote controlled ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hot plate, basic kitchen essentials, and a futon with bedding to get a good nights sleep. *More Amenities To Come* For heating and cooling there is a light/fan in the center of the hut and we provide a space heater for when the nights get cold. Just a few steps outside of the hut is a beautiful (one of a kind) outhouse with lights, power outlets, and a heat lamp if need be. The property is .57 acres in an L shape. It has many trees consisting of spruce, ponderosa, and aspens. The plot sits right at 9000 feet above sea level. There are great Mountain View’s and lots of Quiet. There is unlimited national forest access just a 2 min walk from the property, 3 private fishing ponds, and a very large and versatile shooting range nearby.

Nestled in the back of our property, accessible via a horseshoe-shaped driveway, this dedicated camping spot awaits you. Please note that a 4WD/high clearance vehicle is essential for winter access, and rigs over 25' will not fit. We have a nice long pull-in with full hookups on our one-acre property. It is fully fenced and we are happy to accept pets. We are in a rural neighborhood setting and my husband and I do live on the property in the small green house you can see in the photos. There are houses around; it's not a secluded wilderness spot. We've been RVing for seven years (two of them full-time) and hiking and camping for many more. We're happy to provide local recommendations or to help you out with your rig if you're new.
Our home is conveniently located approximately 35 minutes from Boulder or Nederland, 45 minutes from Eldora for skiing enthusiasts, 25 minutes from the Longs Peak Trailhead, and 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. We have hiking trails directly from the backyard.

I almost don’t want to write a review as it feels like a secret spot. If the owners are reading this, keep my prices the same. ;)
I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I’m five months into a year long van life with my wife and two kids. I needed a break from the big city life AND in-laws during the holidays. I just happened to come across this like (as the miners say): follow the quartz line and ride the iron horse.
Anyways, I did struck gold: clean showers and bathrooms, hot water, nice spot in nature, and convenient to both Loveland and Indian Hot Springs. I snowboarded, soaked, and solo van life’d it here. I couldn’t be happier with my 4 days and three nights. :)

This was the perfect cabin for a family getaway. We enjoyed all the amenities: the big screen for movies, wood burning stove and hot tub. The bed was comfy and scenery pretty. I personally would have liked a normal coffee pot, but my son liked the drip pot. It was nice to have laundry onsite to wash towels.

Deer came right down to the Lodge, plenty of creature comforts in the kitchen, jacuzzi tub, hot tub, with wifi and central heat. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Trailhead on site for a good hike, or another right across the hwy. King Suite was spacious, check in was easy, be ready for an extra deposit fee.

I booked a tent site at A-Lodge and it exceeded every expectation. The property is tucked into a peaceful mountain pocket with just the right mix of wilderness and comfort. You get the feeling of camping in nature, but with clean facilities, hot showers, and a friendly staff that actually cares about your stay.
The tent sites are spaced out perfectly—private enough to feel like you’re on your own adventure, but close enough to walk to amenities. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the cool morning air was the best way to start the day. Trails are right next to the lodge, so I was able to hike straight from my campsite without ever getting in my car.
The staff deserves special mention. They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and gave genuinely helpful tips for hikes, food, and local spots. The community vibe around the lodge, especially in the evening, made the experience even better—quiet when you want rest, relaxed when you feel social.
If you’re looking for a tent camping spot that balances nature, comfort, and adventure, A-Lodge is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We booked through HipCamp last minute and I am glad they were still able to accommodate us. The drive to the ranch was just beautiful! You’ll pass by a couple of ski resorts and beautiful small towns that are worthy of visiting!
The ranch it self was surrounded by water, we booked Camp 24 and it was just perfect for me and my boyfriend and his Sprinter Van. It was also in front of the lake/river so that was a great plus!
We didn’t book any rooms so my 5 star rating is for the toilet that was well maintained and cleaned.
We arrived after 5pm so there was no one to check us in but we really appreciate the welcome map addressed to me that led us to our campsite. Another 5 star.
And lastly, the ranch is just perfect for first timers like us as it was very accessible. There’s a small town 25mins away that has a City Market and pretty much everything you’ll need. We bought 2 bags of wood but that was definitely not enough. Luckily there were a lot of old woods on the ground that we were able to use.
We also tried to fish but no luck on that. Overall, the experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back with our friends there.
