So you are only a short drive away from a boat ramp and marina. Local dining establishments include Garlic Mikes, Mario's, OL' Miners Steakhouse, 5 B's BBQ, Gunnison Pizza Co., and The W Cafe!

She and the famous Marie Scott were land-owning buddies back in the day. I purchased this land in 1999 and actually moved onto the property in 2005 after renovations. The cabin you will be staying in was renovated in 2012 when a bathroom was added. The property supports horses and llamas. This cabin was built in the 1860’s by Otis Smith, we have been told the Smith Fork of the Gunnison was named after Otis. He was the first silver miner in the area. As you can see, the original cabin s now the main living area. The bedroom and bathroom were added in the 1930’s. In 2020, with spare time on our hands, we decided to restore the cabin.
