Old Moon Acres Tipi Haven

Formerly known as the North Fork Tipi Haven, this 22 acres is now home to Old Moon Acres Tipi Haven. This property offers spectacular views, a large grass field for activities and games, a short hike up Mandala Mountain (behind the solar panels), and relaxion by Love Gulch in the many hammocks. Two mile drive from Big B's and even closer to the nearest winery (Storm Cellar). Tipi camping offers an authentic camping experience, complete with possible bugs and other critters one would expect to find in nature.

The Hawk Tipi is secluded and at the top of our pasture.  Wonderful views and easy access to our 'sage graveyard' on the other side of Love Gulch.

Sunset is a color of blue like no other I have ever seen. You have to be here to experience the pastel sunsets over Mt. Gunnison.

The Bangs Canyon Trailhead lies at the heart of the Bangs Canyon Special Recreation Management Area and provides access to several different trails and recreation opportunities. These include: hiking and rock climbing in Rough Canyon and Ladder Canyon. 

he Ribbon Trail is a 10.8 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Grand Junction, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.  

You are welcome to use the tables near the greenhouse to visit or eat.

Whether you just need a place to rest for the night or you want to explore the spectacular natural and cultural attractions that Grand Junction has to offer – you will appreciate our extra wide, pull-through sites with full hook-ups and picnic tables. Each site has plenty of room for slide-outs and tow vehicles. Those who stay longer will enjoy the spotless bathrooms with tiled showers and private dressing areas, the air-conditioned laundry room, free high-speed wireless internet access (WiFi), our playground, and all the other amenities.

On-site recreational activities for the entire family include a playground with slides, climbers, swings, and a rock-climbing wall for the kids.

Mountain Made Cabin Retreat

Here we have 5 cabins available for nightly or seasonal rentals! Rent 1 or rent them all! Our Seasonal rentals are available March-May, June- August, and Dec-February! 
We are located on Highway 330 East in Collbran, CO. We are 9 miles past the Vega turn heading East. 
 We sit around 7600 elevation. 
There are two horse corrals on site. Water accessible but you must bring your own feed.  
Let’s start with our main cabin! 
Our main cabin fits up to 8 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with stove & oven, washer/dryer, Full bathroom. This cabin has access to WiFi. Hot water and has propane and wood heating options. 

Cabin Sunset- 
This cabin is cosy and inviting, sleeps 2 people with full bathroom! 
Hot water, propane heater and kitchen supplies that are needed. Cooler supplied in room also! WIFI access 

Cabin Sunrise - 
This cabin is cosy and inviting, sleeps 2 people with full bathroom. Comfortable beds, hot water, and propane heater. 
Has kitchen area with a fridge, stove and washer dryer combo for seasonal rentals. Cooler for short term guest supplied in room. Fire pit located outside cabin! WIFI access

Cabin Wildflower- 
This cabin is our second biggest. This has 2 rooms, separated with a kitchen and full bathroom, kitchen is supplied with fridge/freezer for seasonal rentals, a washer and full kitchen utensils. WiFi access. Cabin has fire pit located outside and a usable grill! A cooler is provided in room for short term guest 

Cabin Rustic- 
This cabin is very unique and off grid! Sleeping for up 8 guest. It recently had solar electricity installed, outhouse, outdoor shower unit with hot water, (outdoor shower not available in winter moths)  and WiFi! Wood burner and propane heating options. 
These cabins are very different in their own ways, they run on solar, but we do have a back up generator for emergency use! All our cabins have electricity!  Generator will run 3 times a day in high power demand or low sunlight conditions to ensure there is always power and access to utilities.

This rustic earth teepee&nbsp;sits in the beautiful upper mountain desert of Fruita/Loma Colorado.&nbsp; There is&nbsp;plenty of space with&nbsp;abundant&nbsp;views and beautiful&nbsp; sunsets.&nbsp;You can leave your teepee on your mountain bike&nbsp;and bike directly to the premier 18 road mountain biking trails. If ATV'ing or hiking is your thing, bring your quads, side-by-sides and hiking boots. There is a large fire pit and a grill, in your space,&nbsp;for your enjoyment.&nbsp; Teepee flooring is done in rock with a chimenea in the center of the teepee,&nbsp; There is a raised bed with a full mattress, linens and pillows are provided.&nbsp; There is a table with 2 chairs and built in seating.  
There is an additional wash teepee beside this teepee that has a shower (cold water only) and a sink. You will not be sharing the wash teepee with another party,  There is also an outhouse that may be shared with other parties. This site can accommodate up to&nbsp; 10 more people by bringing&nbsp;2-3 additional campers and/or 2 additional tents.&nbsp; There is a $15.00 charge for each additional person over 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;Come solo or bring your friends for this one-of-a-kind experience.

Tongue Creek Ranch

Tongue Creek Ranch is beautifully situated at the base of the Adobe Buttes on the southern side of the Grand Mesa in Austin, Colorado. The 70-acre ranch has over 40 acres in hay and alfalfa with seasonal cattle grazing in the fall and winter months.

David and Barb Cocetti purchased the ranch in June 2019 to embark on a new life where they could cultivate the land and be more self-sustaining. By following Biblical guidelines for work and agriculture, this land has come to life! It is proving to be an oasis where people find peace while enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. 

The clamping Cabin sits behind the horse arena and in front of Tongue Creek. It's the cutest little cabin and we mean little, more like an expertly finished big shed. It is 10x14 with a 3x14 covered porch but finished inside like a 5 star hotel. AC, TV, Wifi, fireplace, comfortable queen size bed. Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice. 

The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa. 

The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.  

Stephens Ranch

Jake Stephens Performance Horses is a working horse ranch. It's located in Glade Park, Colorado, which you have to travel through the Colorado National Monument and a Red Rock Tunnel to get to. The 70-acre ranch is located in the middle of the funnest and most beautiful places on the planet. Activities include&nbsp;horseback riding through the mountains, canoeing on one of the reservoirs, mountain biking one of the numerous trails, hiking to see some of the most awesome wildlife anywhere, or just camping in one of the cabins or tent camping on the side of a beautiful Red Rock canyon. There's not a cooler place to stay.&nbsp;Learn more about this land:Come stay in one of our two Colorado cozy cabins. They both have wood burning stoves, cable TV and microwaves, and are very unique. The larger cabin now has a&nbsp; finished bathroom complete with a very unique all rock shower,&nbsp;&nbsp;and kitchen,&nbsp;&nbsp;We offer a sunset horseback ride in the mountains or a private horse riding lesson in our arena or round pen, or you can go on a mountain bike ride on Red Rock to Rattlesnake Arches (which is the largest collection of arches in the world, besides the Utah delicate arches), above the ranch on a beautiful aspen-covered alpine trail by the reservoirs, or go on a hike anywhere! GECKO GULCH--MOUNTAIN BIKE HEAVEN

Learn more about this land:CAMP ON 35 ACRES OF PRIVATE MOUNTAIN BIKE HEAVEN! Gecko Gulch is a single, private campsite near the popular North Fruita Desert 18 Road mountain bike area and the famous Kokopelli Trail.  And if that’s not enough, after a day of shredding single track, you can return to your campsite and have 35 acres of desert hills all to yourself to continue the ride! When you’ve had enough of the bike, you can relax in your 8’x12’ cabin with two comfy chairs and room to hang a hammock or stretch out two of your sleeping bags if you don’t want to pitch a tent. A covered porch is the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy a well-earned beer. There’s a picnic table with a shade sail. The open-air shower stall lets you hang a solar bag to rinse off the dust while you admire an unending desert view. Then start a campfire and roast some marshmallows while you wait for the stars to come out.Gecko Gulch’s 35 acres are surrounded by public BLM land on two sides so the desert really is your playground.  This is a dry campsite with no electricity or water, but there is a portable toilet and trash can. There’s enough flat area to set up a couple of tents. A small amount of firewood is provided.&nbsp; Gecko Gulch is not suitable for mega-large RVs. The cabin has no heat/air conditioning, but two screened windows open to catch a breeze and mosquito netting is on the door.If you’re tired of camping in a crowded, noisy campground with neighbors on all sides, if you want privacy and incredible views, then Gecko Gulch is waiting!
