Camp Catori was exactly what we didn’t know we were looking for—the perfect retreat from Denver. The view of Blanca Peak is absolutely breathtaking, and we could have happily spent the whole day just relaxing, reading, and napping on the outdoor sectional while soaking it in. The tiny home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a cozy, comfortable off-grid stay. We will definitely be back ❤️

Casa de Santa Maria is a beautiful and unique campsite. With outstanding views of Blanca Peak, Ute Mountain, and Culebra Peak you can stay in camp and be rewarded with eyefuls of beauty. As a base camp it is easy to get away to Great Sand Dunes National Park, or the hot springs in Hooper (Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs Pool). There’s great fishing and hiking opportunities along the way to Chama, New Mexico, and just 65 miles away in Taos you can enjoy history, art, and great food. Susan is a fantastic host! Awesome location with plenty of hiking trails and great views! It was very windy the weekend we stayed, but we set up camp in the creek and barely noticed. We would definitely like to come back.

My family of 4 + a dog loved our stay! It was a bit squishy as you would expect fitting a family of 4+ in a tiny home...but it was cozy! Comfortable beds all around and the means for making coffee. :) But the absolute best part was the DECK! Gorgeous views. Great birding! Great place to drink said coffee. This was a perfect stay for us on a trip to the Great Sand Dunes. Also, excellent communication with the host.

We loved how much detail and care was put into this tiny home! It had everything we needed (except for hot water) to have a restful stay near the sand dunes! The property is very secluded so the star viewing at night was optimal! Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Moore Chaparral

What a wonderful place! Daryl and Cindy greeted us when we arrived and were so sweet. The place was perfect for our overnight. A super comfortable bed, snacks and treats if we wanted them, and many amenities to keep us cozy during our stay. When we woke up in the morning, we enjoyed coffee under the tree-zebo. The propriety the stunning and the hosts went above and beyond. Definitely recommend! We’ll be back!
