Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. Thank you for such a pleasant experience to get us "away from it all" and the delight of bringing nature closer! XOX

We had such a wonderful stay! The host, Marni, was incredibly kind and welcoming which made us feel right at home. The camper was clean, comfortable, and really adorable. It is whimsical with bright colors and a happy mood. I really love that the camper has running water, a bathroom with shower, fridge, and heat! The nights were getting cool during our stay and the heat made us so comfortable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. With pretty views, and the added joy of seeing horses, goats, and alpacas right on site. It was peaceful, fun, and such a unique experience to be surrounded by the animals. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a special camping trip! Thanks so much!

Staff was friendly and helpful, cabin was basic and comfortable. Good value for the money. The bathrooms were.. fine. Kids loved the pool which was an unexpected amenity. The arcade was filled with of classic arcade games but unfortunately many were out of service because, well, they were 30-40 years old. Lone Duck was comfortable, people were quiet and respectful, and overall completely adequate.

This was a cute retro airstream away from the city. We Stayed here while visiting family in Denver. It has all the amenities you need and nothing more. Dan is wonderful, kind and helpful and knowledgeable about hike. He was very responsive too. Cabin was good if u are small as we are, talker or heavier people might find it a bit crowded. Clean quarters. Great mattress, pleasant grounds and wildlife. Hot shower and bathroom as described and good after a day’s hike. We liked the place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs loved saying “hi” to the goats and exploring the grounds. Beds are super comfy and the whole camper is cozy and cute. Terry was great with directions & communication.

Weekend Trip to Cabin, RV & RV Site by Muller Park

We loved staying at Dan's Cabin - Outlaw Bunks which was exactly as described, cozy, convenient and with the amenities you would look for in a quiet vacation stay. His property is in the middle of an Aspen grove that makes it all the more interesting with plenty of deer around. Dan was a great host, always eager to respond to any questions, provide great recommendations and share some interesting stories. I would definitely recommend his place for anyone looking for a nice experience in the woods and still be accessible to the nearby attractions like Mueller State Park, Florissant, Cripple Creek, Victor etc

Wow… where do I start. This was legitimately my favorite hipcamp I’ve ever been to. Dan is the man, an absolute wonder of a human. The little cabin was clean, tidy, and was super cozy. Price was extremely fair and the bathroom was very nice. We drove almost 2000 miles to this hipcamp, so it being as nice as it was when we arrived was amazing. We will be back, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Great spot for relaxing and close enough to enjoy what the area has to offer. Dan was extremely helpful and provided great recommendations on area eateries and hikes. If you enjoy wildlife, this is a wonderful place!

1 night at The Black Forest Boho Glamper

This was a perfect place to spend the night on our girls trip! We explored Manitou Springs and needed a place to stay while we explored Colorado Springs. Both hosts were lovely and welcoming! The glamper feels so secluded and we loved being next to the goats :) I really appreciated all the amenities at this spot. The beds were made so nicely and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, dish soap, everything is there - just bring the food! We were able to park right next to the glamper, it was very clean and tidy! There is a trail on the property that we walked after dinner. I really liked that it was fenced in so we couldn’t get lost lol We brought some dvds from home and enjoyed our movie night once the sun went down (dvd player works great!) I loved that there was running water and although we didn’t use the shower, I do appreciate that there was shampoo and conditioner on stock! 10/10 would recommend!

4 nights at Little Rest Ranch

This was the most cozy and comfortable place ever! The chickens greeted us everyday and the whole farm atmosphere was wonderful. We loved it!

The host was very nice and informative regarding the wildlife that was around as well as things to do. He had provided nice accomodations and if needed he was open to text or call if there were any issues. The area around was very quiet and relaxing. He really likes the old west and wants to expand to make it more western themed
