We are building a labor of love and would love to have like minded folks joining our community by staying in Red Stripe Rhonda on the creek or our cabin on the cliff- The Little B. The 1950's Bellwood trailer could not be more charming with wood paneling, 1950's styling and positioned right overlooking the bridge on the creek. The outdoor heated shower has a view of the creek and a dry toilet. There are several seating areas capturing quaint vignettes of the farm fields, stunning views and produce. Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Counterpath. The neighborhood was very cute and my husband and I took several walks. There is a coffee shop, breakfast place and a restaurant (I think it was South American cuisine...we did not have an opportunity to eat there, but it looked interesting!) within a couple of blocks. We picked zucchini and apples from the garden and enjoyed them. The location has a food pantry weekly, but it did not interfere with any of our plans. I never met Tim in person, but he was good at communicating via text/hipcamp messaging. I would stay there again.

We loved the quiet and peace while camping in our trailer on Madeline's land. The views of Pike's Peak and the mountains were very pretty... we were the only campers there for the 2nd and third nights of our stay!... We were only 30 minutes away from Garden of the Gods, which was our destination.... easy to get to from this site. We loved this site. ...Madeline was a responsive host -easy to connect with when we had questions.

The setting of this campground is absolutely stunning! They have everything you need and then some! I camped at site 31, which is right on the river and it was wonderful. Borrowed a free paddle board from the lodge store and paddled out from my campsite into Lake Grandby! 10/10 would camp here again!

Weekend Trip to High Balsam Farm

I loved the camper on High Balsam Farm- it was just what we needed! The farm itself was beautiful, a peaceful creek, butterflies through the rows of flowers & veggies they were growing, cooking supplies, wonderful conversation, and privacy, too! PLUS an outdoor shower & a comfy bed- we couldn’t have loved it more! Highly, highly recommend especially if you’re planning on going to Red Rocks- less than a 20 minute drive away! We hope to visit again!

I really enjoyed staying in the Red-Stripe Rhonda camper! I came to Denver for a full week for a conference downtown and was so glad to have a space that felt secluded in nature while only being 10 minutes from everything I needed! I added farm fresh breakfasts cooked by the host most mornings and it was by far the best breakfast I could have got anywhere. I got a tour of their amazing market farm veggie and mushroom operation, and sat outside my space at night to the sound of the creek and wind in the trees. The outdoor shower and composting toilets worked great and it felt like upscale camping in the best way. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone that loves local food, an awesome all inclusive experience, and a super affordable stay that’s hard to find in the area. I’ll be back for sure.
