Learn more about this land: This site is on an 1889 Homestead property located West of Denver and East of Golden. The camping space is a 1/3 acre field adjacent to a barn and barn-yard with goats and chickens who love to interact with people. It is near (walking distance) the communities of Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood and Denver. You can also walk less than 1 minute to a bus stop which will take you to East to downtown Denver, West to Golden, connects with the Light rail, airport and points in between.  Just 5 blocks away is a great neighborhood bar and grill, a beer garden and a bakery. Many other dining, pub and brewery options just 10 blocks away. Popular Sloans Lake park is 12 blocks away and quieter Crown Hill Lake/Park is about 20 blocks away. We have free WiFi, basic 15 amp electric service and fresh water on a fill-your-tank basis. The 1950's Bellwood trailer could not be more charming with wood paneling, 1950's styling and positioned right overlooking the bridge on the creek. The neighborhood was cute and quaint. You have a private space with a walking trail in your back yard. The RV is decorated with wood fairies in mind...loved that! We stayed two nights and were happy with having a space that was close to the city because everything was easy to get to. I never met Lauryn, but she was responsive and had an amazing list of recommendations for us to do! Thanks for the stay and Denver is one of my Favorite Cities!!

Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

The camper had such a cute aesthetic! It was cozy, comfortable, and even had a microwave and mini fridge, which was a nice surprise. Very homey feel with mugs, glassware, plates, bowls, silverware, and coffee makers provided. The local suggestions were a thoughtful touch, and the location was great—close to plenty of spots for food and coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay at Counterpath. The neighborhood was very cute and my husband and I took several walks. There is a coffee shop, breakfast place and a restaurant (I think it was South American cuisine...we did not have an opportunity to eat there, but it looked interesting!) within a couple of blocks. We picked zucchini and apples from the garden and enjoyed them. The location has a food pantry weekly, but it did not interfere with any of our plans. I never met Tim in person, but he was good at communicating via text/hipcamp messaging. I would stay there again.

The views of Pike's Peak and the mountains were very pretty... we were the only campers there for the 2nd and third nights of our stay!... We were only 30 minutes away from Garden of the Gods, which was our destination.... easy to get to from this site. We loved this site. ...Madeline was a responsive host -easy to connect with when we had questions.

I loved the camper on High Balsam Farm- it was just what we needed! The farm itself was beautiful, a peaceful creek, butterflies through the rows of flowers & veggies they were growing, cooking supplies, wonderful conversation, and privacy, too! PLUS an outdoor shower & a comfy bed- we couldn’t have loved it more! Highly, highly recommend especially if you’re planning on going to Red Rocks- less than a 20 minute drive away! We hope to visit again!

The bed was SO comfy, I had such a restful sleep. The place was quant and comfortable. I felt very safe. It was the perfect size space for 1-2 people. I will say, even after running the water through the brita filter it tasted very funky. Maybe a few complimentary water bottle would be a nice addition. Other than that, great stay!!!

I really enjoyed staying in the Red-Stripe Rhonda camper! I came to Denver for a full week for a conference downtown and was so glad to have a space that felt secluded in nature while only being 10 minutes from everything I needed! I added farm fresh breakfasts cooked by the host most mornings and it was by far the best breakfast I could have got anywhere. I got a tour of their amazing market farm veggie and mushroom operation, and sat outside my space at night to the sound of the creek and wind in the trees. The outdoor shower and composting toilets worked great and it felt like upscale camping in the best way. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone that loves local food, an awesome all inclusive experience, and a super affordable stay that’s hard to find in the area. I’ll be back for sure.
