My family and I loved camping at Stephanie's Sunrise Campsite. We chose Site 1 from the reviews and it didn't disappoint. It was private and had spectacular views. The bathroom facility was clean and was thoughtfully stocked. We even had a surprise visitor in the morning, a majestic buck exploring. We would love to come back again in the spring.

Fun, cozy setting and amenities. We enjoyed our very first night in our van here. Great location that feels remote yet is only minutes outside of Boulder. Easy access.

Site 3 was exactly the peaceful mountain getaway I hoped for. My dog and I woke up to a sweeping view of the valley and caught a spectacular sunrise, that made the name “Sunrise Campsites” feel perfectly earned. The site has a small grassy area that is fairly level enough to pitch a tent, with a picnic table and a clean, convenient toilet. Stephanie is a warm and thoughtful host!

Weekend Trip to Sunrise Campsites
What a wonderful view! We had site 1 with boulders for my son to climb on. Plenty of space and peaceful (no other campers while we were there). Due to fire ban Stephanie kindly rented us a metal gas fire pit which was waiting for us on our chilly first night. The games to left for us to play were a bonus! Super clean portaloo. Loved listening to the creatures from our tent at night, and the wonderful Castle Rock with Art fair, Challenge hill and Adventure park at Phillip S Miller park were just 20 min or so away and fun!

A small, private campground. Dan, our host, was awesome! My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, there. It was extremely peaceful and rejuvinating.
several deer stopped by our rv, hoping for snacks. Yes, yes, I know.. "Don't feed the wild animals." Mrs. doe did receive a handful of grapes, whilst Mr. Buck stood there, supervising. We were also visited by a fox. A mother bear w/cubs performed a late nigh,, on-camera cameo at the back of the campground.
2 or 3 rv sites, a couple of tent areas, and 2 cabins, snuggled up, at the bottom of the mountain. Sweet.

A-Lodge Boulder is a quaint delight! After a long day of driving it felt great to set on their patio and enjoy the music and refreshing drink. Perfect place to hit some gravel and hiking trails.

BEAUTIFUL property with two campsites nestled in a large aspen grove in a "dark sky" area of Colorado. Amy and John were so welcoming and kind and communication was great! The campsites feel very private and remote, while still being accessible to activities and a few businesses. The Aspen site feels more shaded and woodsy, while Boyscout is more open with nice views. It was great to have the whole camping space to ourselves along with the safe house option a short hike away for food storage, indoor plumbing, WiFi, and escape from the rain :) Wish we could have stayed longer!
