We have cultivated our family farm to be a sanctuary - a place for people to feel the love of the earth, and what it has to offer us. Spectacular skies surround the farm, with roaming chickens, crowing roosters and vegetables, medicinal herbs, and fruits growing - a living model of what is beautiful AND possible in life.
The cozy has a vibe of its own, and sits beside a sweet, peaceful pond, outdoor sitting area, and fire pit. There is plenty of room for additional tents and RV's. The convenience of accessible electricity, running toilets, hot water shower, gas grill and an additional covered sitting area make your camping adventure that much more comfortable.
Super convenient to get here! We're less than 20 miles from the Sacramento Airport, and just a few minutes off of Interstate 5. Yet you'd never know it once you get to the farm and feel the peace and quiet.

Additional note....Life on the farm is calm, peaceful and easy... operating with the natural rhythm of the
sun cycle. What few clocks we do have, are stuck on twenty minutes past four.
We are also family and kid friendly.

Please know that This is still camping and you will be subject to the elements of Mother Nature. Hot, cold, rain, wind, dirt, dust, mud and different animal sounds during the night. When you are here you may see frogs, toads, lizards, snakes (none poisonous) ants, turtles, squirrels, etc..
Those of you who have experienced camping before know that these are all normal things when out in nature but for those of you who have no camping experience I ask you to come with an open mind and a positive attitude towards a new experience. If you think you may have problems with any of these things PLEASE DON'T COME!!!
We
also have a dog named Sara that loves people. Most campers that come are very happy to have her around. She is polite and good with children. Some of you may not like dogs, if that is the case this will not be a fun experience for you.
Please note that as of spring 2021 we no longer have as many animals. Because of the drought feed prices are too high.

Located in the Capay Valley near Cache Creek Casino, Full Belly Farm, Taber Ranch and other event venues, we offer a quiet getaway full of stars, wild life and farm animals. Our 55 acre ranch features cattle, sheep, ducks and chickens, as well as 2 small fruit orchards. Several popular access sites for Cache Creek recreation (rafting, floating) are within a 5 minute drive. We also are very close to popular off road recreation access via the Ridge Trail (County Rd 41) as well as horseback trails such as Cowboy Camp. However, we can only accommodate one or two UTV/Horse trailers at a time, as our parking is limited. We offer several accommodation options that can be combined to fit larger groups. We welcome wedding guests!
Nopal Artist Studio
An open concept light filled artist and musician studio featuring a pullout sofa, a large sofa in a nook, and floor space for additional camping mats. Has a full kitchen, refrigerator, stove and access to washer and dryer. En suite bathroom features a clawfoot tub. TV and DVD player, internet access.
Cabin 1
Features a full size bed and a twin size bed. Perfect for parents with one or two children.
Cabin 2
Features a queen size bed and small loft. (Very small, but we have had teens sleep up there because it was fun!)
Both cabins have a small plug in heater, and a window AC for the hot hours. Wifi reception is limited.
The cabins have a indoor/outdoor bathroom with a sink and toilet and a small kitchenette featuring coffee and tea setup, hotplate and mini fridge. You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes.
There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Tent space
We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ.
The bathroom is shared with the cabins.
We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Please be aware, this is the country!

We bought this 1 Acre property surrounded by crops in 2013. The original farm house was built in 1952. It was a local hang out for all the kids on this road, of which most still currently reside. Our journey started here with a simple little cute house surrounded by dirt... We have worked non stop to make it our home. We've added a shop, built a master suite and put in trees, gains and pool. We built a poolhouse for guests and have added it to the airbnb community. We later built a pig barn and expanded our chicken coop. We enjoy gardening, growing pumpkins for our grandkids. We have multiple fruit trees in hopes to have lots of fruit to share . We love be outside 99% of the time. BBQ & sports, are always enjoyed, especially if it's football!

Pull in and relax on our little farm. We have gorgeous sunsets and bright stars. We're located amongst farm land, almond and walnut orchards. Our 1 acre has rotating crops behind it throughout the year. Our Rv site sits in the back of our property as seen in the pictures. It has power and water hookups only. The pool and laundry can be used by appointment. Please note, as of now we don't have a bathroom or shower option. Trailers must be self contained.
We have tiny rooster, Little John, 17 hens and a mini schnauzer. Fresh eggs are always available during your stay. We’re 2.5 miles from city limits. Close enough to stores and restaurants but far enough away for a quiet stay. We have lots of local winery’s within 20 minutes, hot air ballooning and an abundance of lakes within a few hours. Come visit us!

We loved our stay! The environment was peaceful with a beautiful pond and classic barn. We watched the sun set and rise from our van while listening to bees buzz and chickens crow.
We had access to toilets and an outdoor shower, and had electricity and water at hand, too.
The host was awesome and filled us in on the history of the property. We would definitely return.

What a groovy place to camp where you're not surrounded by people! My husband and I reserved Kimball Farm for 3 nights and it did not disappoint. The electric and water hooks ups were great with our 20 ft trailer and the views and sounds of farm life were magic. We super enjoyed our cellar and wine tasting experience as well - we will definitely stay again!

What a beautiful spot! We were in our camper van on the river. The birds and sounds from the river were beautiful and though the road is close the sound didn’t bother us. We walked all over the grounds, very lush this time of year! Our dog had a great time too.

Jaime is an excellent communicator and has been very flexible with my situation. I had a tire blowout and my reservation needed to be extended. So she was very accommodating and helpful to make this a less stressful situation. And while it may have been foggy the whole time I’ve been here you could see how beautiful the property will be when it’s nicer weather and things are in Bloom.

I was the first hip camper at this location. Amazing views of the valley below, farmland and ranches. During my stay, it was very windy and raining the first few days unfortunately so I didn’t get to see the views all the way to Sacramento until my last day. If you’re looking for quiet and remote away from town, this is your spot.
A few things to note and I’ve shared with Darwin the property owner:
-About a mile out the road in is gravel so it’s a bit bumpy but drivable for 2WD.
-the driveway up is also gravel until you get to the barn and then it’s paved. There is a bit of a bump at that spot where it transitions to paved so just be careful and go slow..
-once at the top, there is a nice space for I’d say up to a 25 foot trailer. Anything larger is going to have trouble turning around. There were some low hanging branches at the top of the driveway that hit the top of my trailer on my way up, but he trimmed them before I left, which was great.
-Darwin is very friendly and super helpful wanting to make sure my stay was a good one. He was kind enough to help me back in my trailer since it took a bit of maneuvering.
-there is a water spigot and he has an extension cord for 110v power.
He asked for suggestions, I gave him several like adding in a 30 amp outlet (summer heat for A/C) and he has the capability to put in a sewer drain closer to the parking spot. There is a proper drain, but it’s up against the house and there’s a pool fence to go through.

The staff were very helpful and polite. I only wish they would mention on their website they no longer provide fire rings. You will have to bring your own if you want to have a fire. The pool was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. Note to self. We will make sure to place our RV the farthest point possible away from the road. We could hear cars whizzing by at night.

When I arrived it was taken because it’s a holiday weekend but to my surprise I got a members pass and oh boy was awesome, not only I got 2 swim pools but live bands and amazing people around the staffs were great and hospitality, I’m going back again! We camped at Canyon Creek for a relaxing little getaway. The setting was peaceful, and the small on-site store was a nice surprise we even found these fun, colorful drinks that added fun vibes.
We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was out of service, since that was one of the main reasons we booked. The pool was a nice backup, though it could use a debris catcher to keep it cleaner. The Wi-Fi worked for basic browsing, but not for streaming.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would go back just better prepared next time.

Wonderful property. Woke up to roosters and a tiny bunny poking their head near our tent. We had a fun and generous tasting in the cellar the night before with George. There was a pool table in the barn he let us use but we were having too much fun around the fire - It's great that fires are allowed. Plenty of potable water and and plenty of wood to last 24 hours if you order the bundle, no worries there. I felt very comfortable on this property and would come again.

The campsite is good. I’m grateful we had access to the pool, the creek is right next to the campsite, which is amazing if you like to sleep with water sounds. There is just one table, and one water access (hose) for all the campsites. I think that the price is okay just because it has the pool, otherwise is a bit expensive. They mention they will improve the campsites in the next month. I’ll be happy to go back.
