Weekend Trip to Mill Creek Resort

I absolutely loved camping at Mill Creek! The scenery was beautiful, and the sound of the creek flowing nearby made the whole trip feel extra peaceful. It felt so nice to escape for the weekend, relax, and just soak up nature. I also really appreciated that they offered firewood right there at the site. It made campfire time super convenient and stress-free! Having cell signal was a nice bonus too, since it allowed me to stay connected with loved ones while still enjoying an unplugged vibe. Everyone around was friendly and courteous. We did have a neighboring camper who got noisy at first, though they became more respectful once reminded about the quiet hours. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back again!

Beautiful family friendly private campground. A lot of love goes into this place. We were in campsite 11 and felt it was pretty private and spacious. Bring leveling blocks though if you’re picky about a level camper. Would definitely recommend Mill Creek Resort

The campsite is on a beautiful property with close proximity (about 1 hrish) from Lassen NP and 30 mins from town. There’s a beautiful creek that runs right through the land. Dog friendly and lots of dog friendly hikes near by. Loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Mill Creek Resort is magical! This is the perfect location for exploring Lassen National Park or just being. The grounds are lovely and Mill Creek runs along the edge of the property. I stayed in an rv spot and those sites are close together, but I didn’t mind and I appreciated the convenience of having water, power and sewer hook ups. There was a small creek running behind the rvs, which is nice sound to fall asleep to. Nice people there and a really great vibe. I will definitely be back!

BigFoot Lodging campground is a beautiful little hidden gem. With healthy tall pinetrees there is shade and beauty at each site. Sites are wide with plenty of room for a tent if someone in your crew doesn't want to sleep in the RV (our daughter!). Picnic table at each site. Fire pits, although there are no grates over the fire pits in case you wanted to cook that way. GORGEOUS little waterfall 5 min walk from the camping sites. Helpful hosts. Small store with all those little things you forgot. Firewood available for $10 per bundle, cheaper than the convenience store or the dollar store in Shingletown. It's just a really pretty little campground that we will definitely be returning to!

VERY helpful and accommodating. Kept the office open late for our arrival and spent time directing us in the dark and giving us loads of information in the morning about RVs. My husband and I camped here on a Wednesday night and it was very quiet and such a pretty spot. We got in late (about 9:30 pm) which normally makes me a bit nervous but there was something about the vibe of the campgrounds that made me feel at ease. The sounds of the creek in the distance, the smell of the trees, it just felt so cozy and welcoming! Downsides: people walking by at 1 am flashing their flashlight directly at your tent. A bit spooked by that. Upsides: not feeling like you’re totally alone in the woods because people were around but not too close that it felt crowded.

Awesome campground! Well maintained, beautiful area, and only 30 minutes from Lassen. Campsite #9 was just okay, it was quite sunny compared to the other sites and didn’t have much of a flat area to put a tent on. Would 100% comeback to Mill Creek campground but would try a different campsite.

Friendly host with helpful kids! The site was well-kept, quiet, and had nice amenities like a camp store and large bathroom/shower combos. Only 20 minutes to Lassen Volcanic National Park made it the perfect base for us!
