A massive flood in Jan 2021 brought 100's of gigantic full sized redwood trees and boulders smashing down thru most of the land and previous structures. It is and will be in the process of rebuilding for many years to come.

Kitchen: The communal kitchen has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, BBQ, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, and ice maker. The kitchen has A/C and heat.
Other Shared Structures: The Lounge Barn, Legends Saloon, Loading Dock Stage, Antique Barns and the Game Room.
Evenings: Evening time at Almond Springs is spectacular. There is no light pollution, and the stars are amazing! The space is also well lit with intimate café lighting.
Weather: This is a remote country space. The Cabins and Kitchen both have Heat and A/C. Please come prepared for what the weather predicts for San Miguel, CA.
Dogs: We allow up to two dogs. They must remain on leash at all times. There is a $50 pet fee per pet.

Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles.
Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait.
Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay.
We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea.
We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water.
Please bring your own drinking/cooking water.
It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker!
On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey).
Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots.
but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them.
We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen.
Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited.
Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

Such a cute and cozy loft! It was bigger than we expected and it was great that they had all the amenities! The outdoor is super cute and it was great that they had BBQ. The host also made sure we had enough pellets to keep warm throughout the night. Loved how it was dog friendly, though I didnt think it would be best off leash.... We were able to walk to nearby winery, chill, enjoy nature and eat good food. High recommend this stay!

The view from the bedroom was absolutely stunning! With a large picture window, we enjoyed incredible sights of the vineyards and mountains in the area. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for wine tasting on West Hwy 46! The cozy coach house was so clean and inviting. We brought along a few groceries and even visited the SLO farmer’s market, so we were all stocked up and cooked our meals in between wine tastings. We had such a wonderful time! I highly recommend Sally’s cottage!

Dabudage Campsite was pure magic. The views alone are worth the trip—breathtaking ocean vistas that make you pause and soak it all in. It’s just remote enough to disconnect from the outside world (no cell service!) and reconnect with each other, which made it the perfect romantic escape.
The site itself is thoughtfully set up. Our cabana was cozy and charming, and the grounds had everything we needed: a well-stocked communal kitchen with cookware, private poopers, multiple fire pits, and the cutest shower you’ll ever see. Every detail felt intentional and inviting.
We also loved the vibe—peaceful, friendly, and full of good energy. Our neighbors were kind and respectful, which added to the sense of community without ever feeling crowded.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful reset, or just want to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, Dabudage is the spot. Can’t wait to come back.

We loved the cabana and the property all together. Everyone was friendly, including a kitten that followed us down to the beach and back. We saw sea otters in the ocean, a short walk from camp across a cute log bridge under Route 1. Amazing view of the stars at night and several fire pits. There were two clean kitchens with everything we needed for cooking and cleaning dishes. Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved our night here and wished we had booked it for 2 nights. We stayed in one of the cabins which was perfect for us and our 2 dogs ( a Great Dane and a JRT/ Chi. mix). We played pool and darts in the game room. We walked around exploring. Met some of the family, who were welcoming and friendly. They asked if I wanted to go feed some baby goats, and of course I jumped at the offer and it was the highlight of my stay. We definitely want to go back again, but for at least a 2 nights stay. 🙂

With pets
The sweetest cottage with gorgeous views. We only had 1 night here but would love to spend more time. The coach house was well equipped and very comfortable. Surrounding property and nature were beautiful.

Weekend Trip to Historical Almond Springs!
This was such a magical experience for my husband and our good friends. Carly and her family are lovely and were so gracious to let us interact with their animals. We got to hold the baby goats, feed the horses and enjoy a most tranquil view. Could not recommend this place more! We have all decided to visit this place annually as it was so so good for our souls.

1 night at dabudage Big Sur
Great and cozy lil spot. The hammock surprised me and they even provided extra blankets! It was a short walk to the beach and it was even enjoyable just to explore the area around the campsite. Great place to disconnect (easy to do when there's no signal).

3 nights at The Rock Loft
This was an amazing place to stay. The loft is well prepared and has everything you need while you’re there. The guest book has tons of recommendations and ideas for you while you’re here. Would absolutely stay again. Our dog loved running around the property.

With kids
We loved everything about our stay! The kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave. The hosts were the most welcoming, Carly took the kids on farm tours and really went out of her way to show and talk about their animals. The cabins were spotless and very cozy. Already looking forward to our next visit in spring.
