Additionally, there are two secluded cabins set back with views of Hull Mt., each with one king bed, a restroom, outdoor cooking facilities, and a porch. All cabins have access to coin-operated hot showers. We are a bring-your-own-bedding facility. All cabin guests need to bring their own linens and pillows, as there is no linen service in the area. Cabins are booked for weekly stays Saturday to Saturday from mid-June through mid-August. Nightly stays are available early season, late season, or if we have openings two weeks out from the arrival date during high season.

Camping at its best! We offer 38 campsites plus 1 RV full hook-up (30amp) site, each with its own fire pit, table, and water. The campsites are nestled in a beautiful natural setting of oaks and pines, and are spread out all around the grounds with many lakefront and lake view sites. Some sit back with more privacy, but all sites offer easy access to the lake. RVs and trailers are welcome, and many sites are roomy enough to back right in. We follow the same weekly booking for most of our camps during high season, and do nightly early and late season. All camps are by reservation, so please call for availability.

Spent just under two weeks in the Airstream as a solo traveler and it was perfect.
Location was great - 5 minutes to things in Paradise, 20-30 minutes to things in Chico. Property was wonderful. Beautifully landscaped and tended. Lovely places to sit. Dogs and cats are friendly and chickens, sheep, and alpaca are fun to have around.
The trailer was wonderful. Well appointed and nice to have the equivalent of a separate full-sized couch to hang out on while reading.
Hosts were lovely. Very communicative, responsive, and welcoming.
I would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Loved being able to pull our converted skoolie into the big field. Plenty of room to walk our pup around, we felt very safe, and bathrooms are available!

Plenty of space to set up the tent and be away from other campers if desired. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Decent phone service, nearby highway but not too loud. Facilities are clean and area feels safe. Will stay again.

Stayed here on the first and last night of a long road trip, sleeping in my car. They were great! I got in later (10 pm) the second time and they called to make sure when I’d be there and left the bathroom and WiFi codes for me in an envelope on the door.

This place may not be for everyone, but for two dual sport motorcycle campers shut out of “normal” campgrounds due to the government shutdown, it was perfect. Kind of a steampunk vibe with lots of concrete and steel, with a view of the Stony Gorge Reservoir spillway. It is central to some fantastic motorcycle riding.

Huge area to choose a spot to camp. Plenty of trees for hammock camping and lots of flat area for tents. Common area was super cool with a HOT outdoor shower. Shower does have walls that cover your torso and stuff, but it's not completely enclosed. Shared kitchen facilities, fridge, freezer, etc. all pretty top notch for a hipcamp spot. Two flush toilets in a shed structure with a lockable door. Would love a sink in there :)

If you're looking for a quiet place to rest before a Thunderhill day, this is it. Awesome hosts, level spot, really cute dogs around and even got to hand feed ducks at the pond. Highly recommend.

Tent camping at #131 was great. Creek provided cool breezes in the Redding heat. Laundry facilities were clean and bathroom and showers were also well maintained. Vicki was helpful with my user errors with registration on line. I look forward to many more camps here.

2 nights at Tambo Ranch Tiny House Village
This was the perfect place to take a day or two and just relax. The tiny house had just enough kitchen that for a short stay you didn’t need to go out unless you wanted to. It was impressively efficient. I did bring a cooler because I like cold beverages, but the small fridge would be enough for the yogurts and cheese I brought with for my 2 night stay.
I had a nice time playing with the kittens, Caspian the dog, (who dutifully slept on my porch) and exploring the property.
The bed downstairs was very comfortable and it was nice falling asleep to the sounds of nature outside. 10/10 recommend!

Tammy and Vicky are very accommodating and polite. Clean area, quiet rv neighbors, love the showers and bathrooms. Lots of open sites for a busy holiday weekend near all the waterfalls. Next to freeway.

1 night at Tambo Ranch Tiny House Village
We stayed at the Tiny House on our way home from a trip to the Portola area and the Feather River Canyon. The Tiny House, though tiny, has every thing you might need. Couch, desk, sink, stove, frig, bathroom, shower, heater/air conditioner and spacious loft bed. Everything functional and clean. Outdoor table and chairs outside with beautiful patio tree lighting available at night. We found a friendly dog under the front stairs in the morning and a wide variety of chickens to gaze at on the property. All good here.

I recently stayed at Wonderland RV and Camping in Redding and thought it was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well-kept and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. One of my favorite parts was the big open field for camping—it gave the whole place a spacious, inviting feel and made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re in an RV or tent camping. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay in the Redding area.

We were in the rv first time we stayed and the cottage the second time. Loved them both. Clean, comfy, ac worked amazing! Off the beaten path, which we really liked! Both had everything you might need for a great stay. Will stay again when passing through!
Rv was a bit too short for my husband (he’s 6’6”).
