We also have a playground with swing set for kids to enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance. FIRES: No fires are to be lit by the campers without verbal consent from property owner and instruction. SEE property owner/camp host upon arrival about what you may use on the property. He will provide instructions. TASTINGS: Macala Orchards Olive Oil, Various Jellies and Jams Pomegranate Juice all made from what we grow are available for tasting upon request. Peace and Quiet. For being close to town we could not hear anything. Very well maintained property. While we didn't use the fire pit it was nice. We enjoyed beautiful nights under the stars and unwinding.

A magical place! We were lucky enough to be there during a rainstorm and it was lovely. Don't expect anything fancy- this is, after all, a farm. But you will be able to enjoy serenity in your own little corner, with your own private soaking tub. The mineral water is simply rejuvenating. Ron, the host, is friendly and accomodating. And don't forget to get some dates- chemical free, fresh and delicious.

Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm
Our family really enjoyed camping at Mineral Springs date farm. The mineral springs tubs were a hit with the fam and our site had a heated tub as well which was great to relax in after a long day exploring Joshua Tree. The campsite had a bathroom with running water and a shower too. Last thing, we ordered Ramen and it was so good! Def going back!

Was so surprised to not only have parking for our trailer but a fully set up glancing tent. The personal hot tub was the best thing to wake up too. I didn't even need conditioner for my hair. Was so clean and great service. We will definitely be visiting again.

Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm
We loved camping at the Mineral Spring Date Farm. Ron and Myung welcomed us and we signed up for the Kimchee Ramen our first night which was delicious! We had a wonderful campsite which was private surrounded by date palms. We soaked in a large rubber tub which we could fill with wonderfully hot mineral spring water from deep down in the aquifer 100s of feet under the ground. Palm Springs is only a half an hour away and we enjoyed the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, a must see. To remember our visit, we purchased a couple pounds of dates to take home, which were delicious and tender. Highly recommend this unique campsite to anyone wanting something special.

Weekend Trip to Villa Macala
Great campsite with fantastic views of the local mountains. The full hookup site we had was extremely nice, new, well setup with a clean picnic table and fire pit. The hilly area was fun to hike around and would be a terrific place for kids to run around and play. Weather was perfect with a nice breeze and clear sky’s. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking to get away from the city and spend time relaxing with family and friends.

My son and I rented a camper van and spent the weekend on Dave's land. The views are amazing. If you angle your tent/van just right, you've got a 180 degree view of a small nearby mountain range (about 20 min walk to the foot of the mountains) and in the distance, what I believe are the Bullion Mountains. It's pretty quiet and though there are homes somewhat nearby, it feels isolated and private. Dave is super friendly and responsive.
