We absolutely recommend trying to stay for two or more nights so that you can get accustomed to the space, learn the property, settle in, and relax. Each yurt has a wood-fired stove inside with plenty of wood stacked to keep you warm. Each yurt has a kitchen that is fully equipped with a hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery, pots and pans, grill, etc. Each yurt has a Queen bed with a heating blanket to help keep you cozy throughout the night. Each yurt has its own dedicated wood-fired hot tub. It requires a fire to be lit and maintained to keep it hot.  Things you might like to bring: headlamps,  robe,  flip flops, slippers, hiking shoes. Water: we are on a well and provide fresh drinking water in a container for you. It’s fine to drink, cook, and bathe with the water from the tap but it can have a minerally quality to it. We test the well annually. We provide filtered water but if it runs out, the water out of the tap is safe and delicious. The hot tub: it’s wood fired. This means you have to heat it with a fire to get it hot. This can take many hours to get to the right temperature. It’s a good idea to start a fire right when you get there! This tub may have leaves in it (they fall from above) and cloudy water. The water should NOT smell, the cloudiness is a part of the cedar tubs charm- ash from the fire and particulate from the cedar mix together. We treat it between guests with natural products that maintain the wood (you can’t use chlorine in these tubs). We clean it regularly. Shower before using it to wash off any oils please! The outdoor shower is lovely :) Fireplace: We will leave you a bundle of wood that comes with the rental. If you need more wood you can purchase it from us or from the grocery store. We have lots of wood at the yurt and we ask you to pay $10 per bundle if you use more then we leave you inside. This is on the honor system- It takes a lot of time and resources to keep wood stocked for the property. If you don’t know how to start a fire you may want to bring an instant log with you. Please leave the lighter behind for the next guest. Sleep: we have a heating blanket for cold nights, It’s about 10 degrees cooler on our land than in town. This is a real treat during our hot summers. There will be a fan for you as well during the warm season. We live in the woods, there are bugs and wild animals on/or near the property. Not only are we crafty, but also nature enthusiasts to feel free to reach out and ask about fun things to do here, if you are looking to stay busy exploring the nature. We also have a beautiful sunset hike that overlooks some beautiful views. Oracle Oak Grove has a wide variety of camping options. We have a camp grounds on the lower end of the property that currently hosts 4 different camp sites. the 3 May Pole zone, and 1 Faerie fields. There is one shared Bonfire zone that can be used for friends camping together during the spring and late fall months when we are not in fire season. We love hosting groups and birthday parties. Also individual campers as well. We have two yurts available if you are more into the Glamping experience or especially if camping in the winter. The Witches Hut and The Little Witch Hut! The Witches Hut which is larger and can fit a family of 3 or 4. This hut includes a patio, grill, and Private entrance. The Little Witch Hut is smaller and more suitable for a couple or a single person wanting some solo retreat time. This one has cooking amenities accessible in an outdoor kitchen just outside the yurt. This one also gets better access to the Starlink available on the property. This yurt has the compost toilet outside and is a less than minute walk to it. Both yurts have the ability to park fairly close to them and both are fully furnished. The Yurts are available for a higher expense than the camping of course. We are sorry to say that Hot tub season is now closed. We do have a wood-fired Cedar Hot tub, she is our Cauldron she is only available during winter and very early spring visits. I am sorry, but due to fire season and her being wood-fired she is not available outside hot tub season. If you are interested in the experience it requires advanced noticed as well as an extra charge for wood, cleaning, and tending. She is a labor of love, and such a unique experience. It is quiet and beautiful. Usually cooler because it is right on the water. The dock goes out to the 4 acre pond which is stocked with Bass. You will need to keep food inside of the Cabin/Sauna because we share the space with the animals that live here. The pond is shared with one other neighbor, so you may see other people playing on the pond or hear nearby activity through the trees. It's a great place to hang your hammock and bring a good book or birdwatch. Frolic has been an adventure for me in Saying Yes to life and the rewarding challenges it brings. I fell in love with the huge grama oaks, the pristine pond and the feral overgrown everything. It has been a workin' progress and lots of time to sweat, craft, pause and listen. The property is shaped like a pint glass, running north to south, with a lovely bowl the pond sits in and an ancient meadow up behind the cabin full of apples 🍎 & pears 🍐. Up the hill, a hotter zone, more exposed with its own beauty, where we live. On the occasion, one of us may come down to the pond for a swim, especially when it's too hot up top. We will be respectful but likely just need to cool down. Frolic has been a great teacher in reminding me to PLAY, relax and go with the flow. I hope you can find the same joy and rejuvenation here.

It is quiet and beautiful. Usually cooler because it is right on the water. The dock goes out to the 4 acre pond which is stocked with Bass. You will need to keep food inside of the Cabin/Sauna because we share the space with the animals that live here. The pond is shared with one other neighbor, so you may see other people playing on the pond or hear nearby activity through the trees. It's a great place to hang your hammock and bring a good book or birdwatch. Frolic has been an adventure for me in Saying Yes to life and the rewarding challenges it brings. I fell in love with the huge grama oaks, the pristine pond and the feral overgrown everything. It has been a workin' progress and lots of time to sweat, craft, pause and listen. The property is shaped like a pint glass, running north to south, with a lovely bowl the pond sits in and an ancient meadow up behind the cabin full of apples 🍎 & pears 🍐. Up the hill, a hotter zone, more exposed with its own beauty, where we live. On the occasion, one of us may come down to the pond for a swim, especially when it's too hot up top. Matia was super responsive and helpful in the lead up to my stay as well as being communicative and welcoming during my stay. There isn't service where the cabin is located and Matia was very clear with expectations and overall just a delight of a host. The space was charming and quaint and exactly what I needed for a long weekend last minute trip. It gets toasty in there, just make sure to not make the same mistake I did and try and bring firewood that isn't damp.

We had a great time staying at the Honeycomb Hut! Even with the weather taking a serious turn, we were perfectly comfortable and dry inside, warming up near the gas fireplace under the romantic glow of the fairy lights. And I can't forget to mention the outhouse, it was the ABSOLUTE cleanest bathroom set up I've seen thus far throughout my experiences with hipcamp. In all, the Honeycomb Hut had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and I would definitely stay again.

What a magical place! My wife and I booked this LAST SECOND for Valentine's. Anna communicated immediately with me and helped facilitate our VERY last second stay. She made sure we understood what to expect and answered all of my questions nearly immediately. The yurt is on the property in close vicinity to the main house but it appears Anna stays in the tiny house next to it out of site from the yurt area, which provided us with a great sense of privacy and it's obvious she respects that, which we greatly appreciated! We brought our long haired daschund with us and she had the time of her life exploring the area, and never barked, for once! The bed was very comfortable! Bring your own bedding though, it's made up to be slept on top of. She provides extra clean blankets which was nice. The silence of the area mixed with the unbelievable stargazing made for a perfect getaway. We paid for the fire pit option and when the propane had ran out even though she was off property at the time she immediately helped out with our options! Thank you for that! I would absolutely recommend this place as a very fairly priced and awesome stay. Anna's prompt communication and help was most appreciated!

I loved everything about staying at Rachel's place! First of all, she is so warm and welcoming. Next, the dogs, cats, horse, and kittens (!) were so sweet and adorable. The bus was exquisite - being surrounded by gorgeous dark wood while cozying up next to the fire or cooking was a lovely, unique experience. And the land is beautiful - the bus is right in the middle of a manzanita forest and I enjoyed walking around the hilly slopes to find the best sunset view. I'll be back for sure!

I enjoyed playing with her new kittens, and her dogs, and just being able enjoy her space together. The bus is truly unique and so cozy. I made a huge dinner for the first time and big breakfast as well. Was able to have a lovely campfire under the stars with a new moon. I almost don’t wanna share this gem, because you don’t find spaces like this very often.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the dome glamping site at Rollins Lake in Colfax. From the start, our host Erin was fantastic. Communication was prompt and friendly, and the directions were incredibly clear, making arrival stress free. The amenities exceeded our expectations, and everything was thoughtfully provided, from snacks to all the little details that made the stay feel special. The dome itself was spotless and beautifully set up. The bathroom was great, the bedding was extremely comfortable, and the views were truly incredible. Waking up surrounded by nature was unforgettable. We loved how close it was to the lake, with an easy and scenic hike down for a relaxing walk and time by the water. This stay was the perfect mix of comfort and outdoor adventure. We are already planning our next trip back and cannot recommend this place enough. A truly special experience from start to finish.

Loved the cabin feeling and experience on Elena & Catherine's property. Everything was just as described. ONLY thing to keep in mind - if you are staying here when the weather is low 50s and colder bundle up! Bring WARM blankets. Yes they have a stove/heating situation, but it did take time for it to heat up the cabin that is not insulated. During the night we were nice and toasty under our blankets, but during the day it was a little nippy. LOVED sitting in the cabin and just listening to the rain come down - it was pouring! We stayed dry and the outhouse was clean and everything was provided. 100% would come back again - just when it is warmer :)

The place is really cute and Josh and Valerie are VERY nice. The only thing for me was the smoke inside the tipee gave me a headache. I feel like this is more of a warmer weather place. Also i personally did not appreciate the neighbors dog roaming around but im not a dog person so there’s that, and it’s not like they can do anything about it anyway. Very private and peaceful. Renee is a fabulous host she even provided my dog with baked treat and made us feel very welcomed. There's a nice ladybug trail just out back that is worth exploring! It was unfortunate that rain hit during our time here so outdoor activities were limited, but we hope to come back again soon!
