Weekend Trip to Cabin Hideaway
This is the second time I've stayed in this beautiful cabin. Each time I've extended our stay. It has a cozy feeling once you step inside, and you feel right at home. The owner is super easy to contact when you have any questions or concerns, and she's super sweet to chat with. The only complaint I have is the Hipcamp app itself. The property owners that use this app has a lot of difficulty reaching out to me or being able to get on the app itself. So you would need to make sure that you have an alternate way of communicating with management because this app is unreliable when it comes to that. Highly recommend staying here!

I absolutely loved camping at Mill Creek! The scenery was beautiful, and the sound of the creek flowing nearby made the whole trip feel extra peaceful. It felt so nice to escape for the weekend, relax, and just soak up nature. I also really appreciated that they offered firewood right there at the site. It made campfire time super convenient and stress-free!
Having cell signal was a nice bonus too, since it allowed me to stay connected with loved ones while still enjoying an unplugged vibe.
Everyone around was friendly and courteous. We did have a neighboring camper who got noisy at first, though they became more respectful once reminded about the quiet hours.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back again!

Beautiful family friendly private campground. A lot of love goes into this place. We were in campsite 11 and felt it was pretty private and spacious. Bring leveling blocks though if you’re picky about a level camper. Would definitely recommend Mill Creek Resort

This camping spot is one of the best i’ve been too. The bathrooms are clean, other campers were super respectful, they sell wood and ice, and our camping spot was war distant to the creek below. I would absolutely come here again, very beautiful spot.

The cabin is super clean and at a very cheap price. We ended up extending our stay. Very close to miles of trails in the Mount Shasta area and restaurants nearby if you want to dine out. And the owner is very sweet and easy to contact if you have any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Lucas received us when we arrived at the camp site. He showed us around, had water for washing dishes and potable water ready. Camping among the apple trees under a starry night was beautiful. If you are riding a motorcycle, be aware that the road within the property is packed gravel.

This was an excellent camp ground. Being deep in a forest away from everything was so relaxing. The creek flowing behind us as we slept was so comforting. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Such a nice campground, would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Site 10 was pretty quiet and private, and not too far from the bathroom and showers. Biggest downside is that the open area is sloped, but if you can fit your tent behind the picnic table, you’ll find the ground is a bit flatter.
The shared bathroom was clean, well-lit and had plenty of space to hang or put stuff down. It’s pretty thoughtfully designed. There’s also a shared utility sink to wash your dishes in.

Weekend Trip to Mill Creek Resort
Overall a great tent camping site if you’re gonna be at Lassen NP. The individual tent spaces were large and super nice with your own fire pit and picnic table. firewood burns nice because it’s so dry up there. I loved being around people too that were doing all kinds of different camping, glamping, car camping, etc. Directions were clear and the map was clear as well. The only thing is that it’s not made super clear on the listing that the showers are quarter operated. it says for laundry but not showers so we had to go exchange for quarters at the park. At least they were quarter operated for the regular tent campers, not sure about the glamping showers. bathrooms served their purpose and worked well enough. a little dirty but that’s expected with how dusty it is up there. Would for sure stay again if i ever come back to Lassen!
