The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. If you’re looking for open space, fresh air, and a laid-back country vibe, this is the spot. ⸻ The Campsite • Camping is on the side of the property with a giant sycamore grove. • Large picnic table under the trees. • No electricity at the campsite. • No direct water hookup, but spigots are available around the property (not for drinking). • Easy access through a gate for tents or RVs. ⸻ Animals & Pets • We have four goats, seven cats, and a gentle Great Pyrenees. • If you have pets, they’re welcome, but please keep them under control and respectful of our animals. • Guests are welcome to stop by and say hello to the goats — they’re curious and friendly! ⸻ Fun & Activities • Plenty of space to roam and explore. • Small track for casual adventures. • A few flags set up for hitting golf balls on the property. • Early stages of development give it a natural, open, and unpretentious charm. ⸻ Facilities • Plumbed outhouse on the 3-acre side available for guest use. ⸻ Nearby Adventures • Turkey Flats OHV Recreation Area – 10 minutes • BLM land – 10 minutes • Santa Margarita Lake – 15 minutes • Margarita Adventures – nearby • Santa Margarita town – about 30 minutes ⸻ Safety & Etiquette • Working rural property — uneven terrain. Super simple and cute spot! It had all I needed which was an electric outlet and a safe space. Loved waking up to the goats nearby and eating breakfast outside on the picnic table. Pretty vineyards not far away too. Thanks for a good stay!

I went to view the meteor showers so I parked my RV out in the field. I didn’t have to level it because it was easy to find a flat spot and easy to turn around. I didn’t use the other amenities on the property as I was only there for the meteor showers which was great😄

Beautiful and secluded spot. No one around but the deer. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, bathrooms were nice and well kept. Very quiet and not far from about 3 dozen wineries! Host was very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

We loved camping out with our camper van here! The spot was beautiful and kept clean. We had a lot of privacy, and were able to find the spot pretty quickly with the directions given. It was on my mom’s bucket list and she just loved camping out in a vineyard. We were a family of 5 + dog and It made a very memorable evening on our roadtrip.

Kevin was so friendly and welcoming; gave me a great overview of the property and even told me of a little hike I could take. One porta potty on the grounds, stocked with tp and is taken care of. Stayed for three nights---I was away during the days, but each night when I came back to camp it was great just to sit with a glass of wine by my tent and watch the stars. Thanks, Cabernet and Kevin, for providing such a great spot to camp!

Staying in my little camper Daisy on the ranch felt so wonderfully safe, peaceful and homey! So much room to spread out for every camper - there were three others there - and still felt private. Having a closed gate on the property at night was wonderful. The porta-potty was so clean! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning, as well as the stars at night. I would gladly come back for another stay!
