Before you ask: Yes, we have two outdoor showers. Yes, you can use a propane camp stove or cook at our common area bbq in front of the barn where we light a real wood fire for campers to socialize with us, other campers and visit our speakeasy. Yes, we provide propane for the propane fire pits. Yes, your dog can run off-leash. Yes, each site has a picnic table, umbrella, propane fire pit. Most sites have a hammock and hammock stand. Please pack your trash out there is a dumpster at the front gate entrance/exit for your trash. Please close your umbrella when your not at the site, especially when it's windy. We have lost far to many very expensive solar light umbrellas due to the wind when it picks up. Please support our farm by buying eggs, hats, stickers, and other items, all for sale in the barn. 1 night at Dare 2 Dream Farms

Cute little farm. Jeremy was very welcoming and his two boys were adorable as well. I arrived a bit early, but Jeremy was more than accommodating. The location is close enough to town, but far enough away for peace and quiet when the sun sets. The mattress was a little soft for my liking, but it was still comfortable. Their on-site farm stand was awesome. I’ll be back again, next time I’ll probably opt for the airstream on the farm.

Weekend Trip to Gaia Farm Campground

I'm so lucky I found Gaia farms - the location is stunningly beautiful, the accommodations were cozy, Amanda was generous, friendly, kind, and I got to hold a baby goat! It was truly a special experience. I cannot recommend a visit enough and hope for the chance to return. We stayed in the yurt, enjoying privacy, quiet, comfort, and VIEWS! The pictures can't even capture how gorgeous the views were. We watched the sun set pink over the mountains and ocean, saw shooting stars all night, and then the clouds settled below us at dawn. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing this place with us, Amanda. <3

We loved all the farm animals. The location is really easy to find and close to the beach with epic sand dunes. We loved cooking outside on the BBQ and the farm stand had so much. The airstream was clean and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable.

Weekend Trip to Cuyama Oaks Ranch

We had a small group come up to Nathan's ranch for my sister's birthday, and we rented out two of the glamping sites. We had so much fun, and it was awesome being away from the city with such amazing views. Seriously, the mountains were insane, and I don't think I've ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. Nathan was lovely, as are the animals—everyone should do the petting zoo. Definitely bring your earplugs if you're in Pink Pony #1 (the rooster is an early riser!) We'll be back for sure :)

My friends and I agreed that there’s no more beautiful place to play card games and cook Mac and cheese than this yurt! Amanda was the most kind and welcoming host. Don’t miss out on holding a baby goat or buying some goats milk lotion or soap, these additions really made our day! Such a special place, we feel so lucky to have stayed a night here. So worth it!

The yurt was in a stunning location and hosted by such a welcoming family. Amazing views and awesome rock formations, just up the mountain from a great beach. Beds were super comfy cozy, outdoor seating area great for taking it all in. Plus, baby goats!!! This was our very first Hipcamp experience and it was overall awesome. And the farm-made goat milk soap smells amazing.

Had a great stay at Dare 2 Dream’s ‘73 Airstream! It was incredibly clean and cozy. It was well stocked with pots/pans, kitchen utensils, towels, etc.. I also stopped by the farmstand and grabbed some fantastic eggs. The hosts were responsive to questions and accommodating! Truly a gorgeous night looking up at the moon from the bed. Absolutely recommend

Weekend Trip to Freedog Farms @ Cactus Flower Ranch

We were only able to stay 1 night but it was truly an amazing experience. Sierra and Darin have built an amazing space on such a beautiful property of land. From the first second we met them, they were very welcoming. They made us feel like we were home. Their hard work in the whole space shows. We brought our Australian Shepherd with us, who didn’t want to leave. We are 11/10 coming back, hopefully for more than just one night. I recommend for anybody that wants/needs to be surrounded by nature and good people.

We had the absolute best time at Gaia farm! The yurt was gorgeous. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The views and smells of the land were spectacular. The animals were adorable and sweet. The food and products available for purchase were high quality. And Amanda was a spectacular host. She was always ready to help us and her kindness shined through. Her and her family’s love is visible across this beautiful property. All of us agreed that we had to come again. Lovely spot! Super easy access go downtown SLO & Avila Beach while feeling like you are world away! The space was comfy & cozy & had all we needed. The compost toilet & outdoor shower were far cleaner & more pleasant to use than the average campground facilities. Would return!

Weekend Trip to Dare 2 Dream Farms

The airstream at Dare 2 Dream farms was the perfect little getaway! The trailer was well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, Keurig, shower, toilet and bed. There was a fire pit right outside of the trailer with benches. The property itself has many animals that we enjoyed looking at. Overall, the stay had great value and I would definitely stay again! One thing to note: the farm is very close to Vandenberg Space Force Base and they regularly have rocket launches. Make sure to check the schedule online so you aren’t surprised by a rocket launch like we were!

We had the most wonderful time! The camper is so cute and just spacious enough, it feels very private. The outdoor shower was lovely with very warm water! Great location as well! Close to downtown SLO and the beach. And Pluto really is as spectacular as everyone says, he is truly such a special dog and made us feel so at home. Our whole stay was very picturesque, from waking up and looking out the window at the oak trees to stargazing at night (with Pluto by our sides). We were very sad to leave.

This was the 3rd time we have visited Lorna’s amazing property and it’s always so wonderful. The cozy gnome home is always nice and comfy and the surrounding trees and creek make this spot tranquil and idyllic. The fresh eggs and fruit, the outdoor shower are not to be missed nor is the company of the incomparable Pluto. Can’t wait for next time!

2 nights at Kindred Acre Wood

This was our second time at this beautiful glamping site on the farm, just 8 minutes from Avila Beach, and it’s truly a special place. My son, Rio, loved feeding the horses and goat, chasing the chickens with Pluto the dog, and splashing in the creek. Pluto happily tagging along. Evenings were spent making s’mores under the stars. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
