There's plenty of great space to ride your bikes, and it's proven to be a hit with the kiddos! The Airstream is new to the ranch and is a work in progress, but you'll love the charm of hanging out in a very cool vintage trailer. We'll soon be adding some layers of paint, shine, and lots of love, so make sure to follow our progress in fixing the ole girl up! Our location is also unique because we are fully fenced in and have a separate turn out space for your horses (check add-ons for camping with your horse). Kimberly's campsite was exactly as described. It was spacious, peaceful and perfect for dry camping. We especially loved that we could bring our dogs and the ground was level so we didn't have to sleep at an angle. The tight turn into the spot is not conducive to anyone pulling a long trailer. Sorry! The campsite is nestled in a quiet neighborhood near a lagoon. Seriously, we slept with the windows open and all we heard were the peaceful sounds of nature. Lovely, lovely stay!!

This place is absolutely incredible. The views were stunning and it was fantastic letting the dogs off leash to romp around. Todd was nice enough to share hiking, winery and food recommendations in the area that led us to a breathtaking hike to Eagle Rock via the PCT and a delicious winery (Sierra Roble) right next door. Also Garage 79 is a great spot to grab a beer and some tacos. This trip was the exact reset we needed. Rate to find a place with full hookups and complete privacy. We will 100% be returning.

This spot was a great respite- so quiet and private! We made Del Mar our central hub as we road tripped around SoCal in a 22 foot van and appreciated a nice place to stay each night. Access instructions were very clear and helpful and we had no issues getting our rig into this spot. I can see how any bigger some might have an issue. We could still get to the beach and amenities within minutes from this spot. Would recommend this spot if you are looking for a quiet retreat in the Del Mar area!!

Quiet large area. Chain across gate. We unhooked and went in. Owner did call upon arrival and confirmed. No problems. Large RV’s if you miss the spot the turn around is hard. Spot is right on the curve to the left. The was an empty camper there of the owners. No one in it.

Wow, 1000% unexpectedly amazing. The place is a magical wonderland and the hosts are extremely kind and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better place to camp in our little VW. Wow, I had an incredible stay here! The property itself is absolutely magical, and I stayed in one of the private circles, surrounded by beautiful trees and vines which was so peaceful. The hosts are so lovely, and the wine is top notch! I bought a few bottles and my favorite was the Scottish Red. Seriously couldn’t recommend this place more highly and will absolutely stay here again when I’m in the area!

Absolute Gem of a spot for self contained Glamping. Right in the heart of Temecula with 2 wineries whithin a 10-15 min walk. Spread out over the families 18 acres there are three separate private camps wonderfully decorated in wine country style and nestled whithin the Vinyards to choose from. We stayed on the upper bluff where views were spectacular. Colorful solar powered lamps creatively used in the circle made for an enjoyable evening show as well. The hosts Fernando and Steve provided excellent communication and a pleasure to talk to. Will certainly be back for more.

We camped next to the Quonset Hut. Nice level spot. Very quiet and private. Our dog loved the off leash time. 30 amp service was nice as was water access although not needed since our tank was full. Todd was very responsive to all questions.

We spent 3 nights at this vineyard and enjoyed the complete privacy with beautiful mountain/vineyard views. Todd was quick to respond to a couple of questions and his directions were easy to follow for finding the spacious RV spot with full hook-ups making the rural location very pleasant. ATT and Verizon cell service were both very good on the property. Our 2 dogs loved the off-leash paths and were really intrigued by vineyard "guard coyote"! We also enjoyed offsite hiking with our pups -- Pacific Crest Trail access just 15 mins away and we highly recommend William Heise County Park near Julian. We agree with other reviewer that water pressure was weak so we used RV water pump for showers to work-around. It would be nice to get some of the older junk removed around the RV site but this is common with owners having much to do maintaining large acreage so just appreciate that Todd shares his special place on Hipcamp.

It's so nice to "meet you" my name is Taryn and my hubby's name is Anson. We are parents to two-year-old twins, so saying we have our hands full is an understatement. Anson is a folk and blues musician and has traveled all around the U.S. playing his music and I work for a children's book company. One day, we decided that we wanted to live the rest of our lives hosting live music, and events and that's how Rock & Tree began. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. In addition, our SHARED amenities include an outdoor kitchen that includes a sink with hot water, 2 mini fridges,(full at times, extra coolers available) coffee maker, a two burner stove, a griddle, a toaster oven, blender, tea kettle, and a few pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Also here to SHARE is a Propane fire pit and BBQ area. The bathroom now includes a flush toilet, sink and shower. We are continuously making improvements. Fun Fact: Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison - aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he became the world's largest honey producer! Today there are just a few bees in the area.

Splitrock was part of a 160-acre avocado farm that prospered from 1970 to 2017, generating over 1million pounds of avocados per year until the previous owners switched off the water in 2017. Ben purchased 101 acres in 2021 with plans to harvest the dead avocado trees for firewood and replant with organic, sustainable crops such as grapes, citrus trees, and flowers. Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Mixed within the avocado groves are several ancient groves and solitary trees that include 150+ foot tall pines, hundreds of old oaks, and soaring palms. Learn more about this land: Join the royal court and stay in our 1975 Airstream Sovereign Land Yacht! Immerse yourself in a budding rescue ranch with pot belly pigs, mini horse, and mini donkey, or take a romp on our 5 acres with lots of hidden gems to discover, or explore the many hiking trails nearby (Mt. Woodson, Potato Chip Rock, Iron Mountain). You also have access to a relaxing hot tub/jacuzzi & brand new 300sf deck. We'll soon be adding some layers of paint, shine, and lots of love, so make sure to follow our progress in fixing the ole girl up! Our location is also unique because we are fully fenced in and have a separate turn out space for your horses (check add-ons for camping with your horse). We also have a small 1954 Camper ("Lucy") that can act as a second bedroom for more sleeping space (check for add-on). **WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: We can provide a ramp for the Airstream for accessibility, though please be aware the camper is small, likely not wide enough for a standard wheelchair, and the bathroom is also small and doesn't meet ADA standards.
