Coppercreek Camp is your mountain escape with fresh air and dark night skies perfect for star gazing. Come stay in a cabin or pitch a tent with friends and family and enjoy endless miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.
Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds.
Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC.
We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups.
May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge.
The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!
Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild!
The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in a remote wilderness setting.
Our cabin collection is where you will find the perfect lodging for your stay. Our options include a cozy studio cabin with a full bed, bunk beds, or futon, our popular loft cabin that sleeps up to six with a queen bed and two full mattresses in a low-ceiling loft, and our spacious chalet with room for eight. Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. Pet Policy
All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Are you ready to unplug from the world and recharge in nature? This newly built two bedroom, two bath log cabin will help you do just that. You’ll reconnect with love ones since the cabin has NO WIFI but does have a wood burning stove and miles of trails to walk on just outside of the front door. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the north entrance of Lassen National Park.
For entertainment, I have a TV (no cable)/DVD player with a selection of movies, board games, and reading material including a few books and magazines.
There is timber land at the back of the property with plenty of trails to walk or ride a mountain bike (if you bring one). Lassen National Park is a short drive away. Also nearby is lake McCumber.
I have a wood burning stove inside that you can use for a fire.
Absolutely NO FIRES outside. There is a fire ban in effect, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I have a propane BBQ outside that you can use, along with a picnic bench and other outside seating.
I will provide a selection of tea, hot coco, coffee and oatmeal to get your day started. Be sure to bring food with you since the nearest grocery story is about 9 miles away.
I will provide a basket of firewood to use during your stay, but it's a good idea to bring extra since it will go fast.
Because you're in the forest, there is limited cell reception so please plan accordingly. I've found that Verizon has some signal while AT&T has none. Since it's meant to get away from it all, not having cell service might be a good thing. :)
The master bedroom is on the entire loft floor so there isn't a lock or door that separates the main area downstairs. Just so you're aware. There is a door and lock on the guest bedroom downstairs.
All you'll need to bring are your personal items, food for your stay, and extra firewood!
Once booked, I will send more helpful tips and information for your stay a week prior to your check in date.
Dogs - I allow dogs because I believe they are part of the family, but please notify me if you intend to bring your dog prior to your stay.
If there is high wind in the forecast, the electric company, PG&E may turn the power off for safety reasons. They usually notify me a day in advance and I will let you know right away, but I wanted you to know that it might be a possibility during your stay.
For Winter Guests: A 4 wheel drive vehicle or car with chains is HIGHLY recommended to travel to the cabin. The main road is paved but there will be snow/ice in the area. The driveway is a slight uphill and is not paved. Please be prepared for snow.

We'll maintained facilities and clubhouse. We really enjoyed the Campground and the close proximity to Lake Almanor and Lassen Volcanic Park and will definitely return.

With kids
Had another great stay at Coppercreek, the kids had a blast with the ropes course, and we got to pick blackberries this time. The proximity to Lake Almanor and the Feather River makes for great swimming and fishing. The hosts had even hung up a line for us to dry our towels, which was great. A truly amazing spot, thanks again for having us!

We enjoyed our stay at Coppercreek Camp. The property is large, scenic, and well shaded, and we enjoyed walking around and meeting the horses, part of the friendly pack of dogs, and playing some of the games provided on the property. Will likely be back for another stay as the location is great for its proximity to Lassen, lakes, rivers and mountains. Thanks!

We loved the whole vibe at Sutter and Taylor’s. Taylor came right out to meet us and showed us around. The area was so peaceful and quiet. We were very impressed with the land. And we were saddened by the devastation that the town has endured because of the Dixie fire in 2021.

An amazing location, plenty to do at the camp and nearby. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kids had a blast at the rope course, playing tetris, basketball, and ping pong. Will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Lassen Glampsite (No Electricity)
This spot is among pine trees not far from the road near forest service trails and logging roads and only 15 minutes from Lassen Volcanic National Park, which is amazing. The garage/living room/kitchen has one screened wall (the open garage door) that gives a sense of being outside with the comforts of home. Ice sold nearby for your cooler, and Linda has left solar lanterns for light (bring your headlamps, too) and a solar water bag for a warm shower. Well equipped kitchen (bring you own olive oil). We enjoyed our stay. My husband saw a fox passing by at dusk!

We had a great 2-night stay with our dog! The cabin was quiet, cozy and very clean. We enjoyed having AC and a comfy bed and the extra touches like popcorn, olive oil, nice shampoo/conditioner and a citrus candle were much appreciated!

Weekend Trip to Coppercreek Camp
This was a beautiful peaceful spot. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The site miraculously survived the Dixie Fire. My daughter worked on that fire as a Hot Shot. Come and support this beautiful campground as the area bounces back from devastating.
I was also visited by a large Jack Rabbit which I took as a good omen.
The care taker Marsha was very nice with a sparkling personality. All good vibes here. Thanks again!!!

We had an amazing time at Coppercreek Camp. The Little Grey Cabin was perfect for my family! The property was beautiful. Lots of big green trees and lots of shade! Endless fun for my daughter. Between the horses, mini horses, all the frogs in the pond and ESPECIALLY the rope course!! Such a cool activity. We were there 2/3 times each day. The cabin was spotless and cozy and the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen while camping!! I highly recommend Coppercreek!! We will definitely come back for more fun!

We absolutely loved this campsite! It was beautiful and clean and had a ton of amenities. I appreciated how many different sleeping/camping accommodations it offered, from basic campsites, to yurts and cabins. The location was also very convenient to Lassen National Park which was a big plus for us!
