It is 20-30 minutes to Pachea Trail and Simpson Park where you can enjoy more great hiking and mountain bike trails. It is also a 30-minute drive to Temecula Wine Country.
We have 2 full outdoor bathrooms, one was most recently added at our Elderberry Camp Site (site 1), and is also close to site 4 our Oaks Campsite as well. (Please note our 2nd bathroom is a good walk uphill from the campsites). Our larger bathroom campers can use with a shower and small fridge to store your food.
We also have a playground with swing set for kids to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
FIRES: No fires are to be lit by the campers without verbal consent from property owner and instruction. SEE property owner/camp host upon arrival about what you may use on the property. He will provide instructions.
TASTINGS: Macala Orchards Olive Oil, Various Jellies and Jams Pomegranate Juice all made from what we grow are available for tasting upon request. Please let us know prior to arrival if you are interested in a scheduled tasting during your stay! We can provide a tasting if we have the proper staff during your visit. Our products are available for purchase, with or without a tasting. We recommend you bring cash if you are interested. We also take Venmo!
GETTING TO VILLA MACALA: The road up to Villa Macala is a dirt road uphill, all vehicles fair well, we attempt to keep the road maintained as well as possible, after heavy rains it is a bit more bumpy but safe. Drive slow!

While most guests (and your hosts) see the idiosyncrasies and obvious cohabitation with animals and bugs beautiful, you may not. If your primary focus is on amenities, and you're looking for a completely dust/dirt, cobweb/bug, and animal/animal sound free experience, a working farm is probably not a good fit for you.
We are dog friendly, but to keep our free range animals safe (and we have had them injured or killed by people not recognizing that dogs are predatory by nature), please keep your dog easily under control and on a short leash at all times. Also, because it's not possible to control your dog on a long line, dogs may NOT be tied or tethered anywhere on the property. For the sake of the antique furniture, do not leave your dog alone in the cottage unless they are crate trained and in a crate. If you want to let your dog off leash, 2 blocks down our road (and off property), there is a large scrub field where you can let your dog run free. Thank you for supporting this 501c3 charity where all the revenue goes to support the animals and the large number of dogs we foster from high kill shelters.

The "Hay Barn" cottage is a studio with high ceilings, a beautiful stained glass window, a kitchenette and a rustically chic bathroom. The Hay Barn sleeps 3; one queen bed with a twin pull out. Please let us know ahead of time if you need the pullout and you MUST put the accurate number of people who are staying here. If you have more people in your group and don't want to share, please check out the main cottage, Hammie and the Treehouse in separate listings.
Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up to simply attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. That said, I'm a frequent Louboutin wearer and I regularly chassé in my stilettos; dirt ground and all.

Weekend Trip to Namaste Farms
The whole experience provided what was promised - a quiet and private glamping. We booked The Pony Experience which provided us a secluded area, where this very cute and comfortable trailer sits. This package also comes with the star resident, My Boyfriend (a handsome mini horse), right in front of the trailer. We found out he LOVES fresh carrots and apples, and he let's you know when that he wants more. We also had the company of the farm's friendly dogs. Sean was very nice and accommodating, and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 35th anniversary! This was a surprise for hubby, and it was a HIT! Thank you, Namaste Farms for a wonderful experience! We will be planning another family getaway at your beautiful farm.

My partner and I loved staying on Gary and Susan’s land! The stay in the wagon was like something out of a fairytale. The wagon was quite roomy and very cozy. The space in there was utilized so well. Gary gave us a warm welcome shortly after we arrived and told us some of the area’s history and gave us great local recommendations for food, and exploring. I would highly recommend a staying here.

Sean was the best host. He took great care of us and ensured we were comfortable and checked on us often. All of the animals were very friendly and we had such a fun time feeding and petting them. The bed was really cozy and we had a goodnight's sleep. The decorations were really unique and made the stay even more memorable.

My 21 yo daughter wanted a mother-daughter weekend. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Feeding and grooming Mr. Boyfriend, as well as feeding the other animals. Sean is very friendly and always checking in on his guests. We definitely would like to stay at Namaste again. Totally recommend this experience, especially if you like glamping and animals.

Gary was a responsive host. When I arrived, he met me driveway and then guided me to the charming gypsy wagon on the side of his beautiful property nestled under oak trees and among the apple orchards. The wagon was cozy, and it provided all I needed for a weekend away.

Very cute place, exactly as pictured. Great communication and Gary was very kind show us around the property. The gypsy wagon was perfect for my boyfriend and I with a functional outhouse. Weekend Trip to Namaste Farms
Spent time here with my best friend over the weekend and had the best time! I loved the company of My Boyfriend, the little mini horse that guarded our RV at night along with all the onsite sheep and dogs. Sean checked in a few times as he was working when I was there and was very friendly and helpful! He gave suggestions of local places we can go and left hay out for us so we can feed the animals. Thank you, Namaste farms!

I loved Namaste farms and would definitely recommend it. It was fun to see and interact with all the animals. Hanging out at the farm throughout the day with the dogs and puppies was peaceful and relaxing. Sean was a great host, checking to make sure everything was going well. I plan to be back in the near future.

oh my gosh fam, I cannot tell you HOW BEAUTIFULLLLLLY cared for my sister and I felt on this overnight trip we made. it was my 40th birthday, I knew I wanted to spend it on a farm, and everything was magical.
MY BOYFRIEND, the pony, was a delight... my sister and I got to feed the 3 1/2 week old lamb, LAMBY... and the coziness and charm of the farm is unmatched. Sean was our point person and he adopted us like family.
Can't recommend this experience enough. Thank you so much Namaste Farm. we'll be back :)

This place is super cute and comfy! So peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were absolutely delightful and welcoming and Freddy their dog is a sweetie. I would highly recommend it and we will be back.

The little caravan glamping was such a nice escape from the city! Gary was very helpful from the start, and our puppy Rudy absolutely adored playing with their dog, Freddie. The apple trees were beginning to bloom but no fruits yet— it’ll be worth coming back during peak season! Even though the road was nearby, this spot was extremely peaceful and was also secluded enough from Gary and Susan’s residence. Highly recommend a weekend getaway here~

Weekend Trip to Namaste Farms
Namaste Farm was a great way to spend my birthday! My son, my dog, and I did the Pony Experience. Sean, who ran the farm, made sure that we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood. Highlights were getting to feed a two day old baby lamb and brush out our tiny horse every day. Definitely will be back!

2 nights at Namaste Farms
It was such a a special time for my daughter in and I to stay in The Pony Experience. The accommodations were coU and comfortable and we really loved being able to be next to My Boyfriend, such a sweet miniature horse. We like being able to feed him and meet and spend time the other animals on the farm. Shawn and Natalie were excellent hosts .We even got to feed a baby lamb that was born the day we arrived. We definitely recommend this experience to others and look forward to visiting again!
