This is a essentially a private campsite with a million dollar view during the day, and wonderful stargazing at night! We welcome dogs and don't charge additional fees for you to bring your dog(s) to camp. The park allows dogs into the park BUT NOT ON ANY TRAILS! (Only the national “forests” allow dogs on trails, not national parks.) PLEASE, let us know you are bringing dog(s), when you request to book. We currently have 2 dogs - our boy Chance is a 6yo Husky Doberman mix; and we rescued and are fostering a (approx 3yo) Great Dane, Winston! Unfortunately, we can NOT dog sit your dog(s) while you are in the park having 2 large male dogs in our house. Also you can not leave the dog alone in the campsite. We are in Three Rivers - the southern Ash Mountain gateway to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our town has some wonderfully unique restaurants, creative shops and even a delicious brewery with seating next to the River! Our hillside property has great Mountain View’s and the driveway turns directly off of Sierra drive, four miles past the town center (3R post office) and just 2 miles from the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks entrance. There’s even a convenience store a quarter mile away! It's conveniently located and easy to find! You can (seasonally) hear the tranqual sounds, or all out roar of the flowing Kaweah river from across the street. Sorry, there is NO river access from this campsite. You can go to Slick Rock Recreation area, Lake Kaweah or into the parks to swim, boat, fish and more. Lake Kaweah is about 8 miles away. You drive around it after you top the hill entering Three Rivers. My wife Elizabeth and I bought our log home in 2015 and we have been dreaming and adding here ever since! Our dog Chance chases all the fun wildlife off of our property. In addition to deer, we have seen fox, bob cats, an Ocelot, too many coyotes, wild turkeys and bear crossing an animal highway along our upper hillside property line. Hawks, hummingbirds, quail, blue birds, woodpeckers and yellow bellied finches are regularly seen here as well. We have had turkey families coming through frequently recently! Owls have been heard; but not seen. We love our country home and mountain views, and look forward to sharing them with you!

Brewster was an amazing host! It was our first time using Hipcamp and we will definitely be using it again. The instructions to get to the location were very clear. It is extremely close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park, about 5 miles. The campsite was clean and exactly as advertised (yay for a flushing toilet!). If you are single and traveling, or just looking for a close spot to the park, this is the spot for you! Thanks Brewster!

I love the location to Sequoia NP, and the site itself was perfect. The site fit a Sprinter 170 and still had room for a ground tent. The bathrooms and shower came in clutch. Plus the picnic table was covered and BBQ grill was a great option. We would definitely come back and stay here.

Brewster was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The spot was literally 3 minutes away from the Sequoia National Park, which gives you quick in and out access. The campsite was extremely pleasant and it’s very clear they have put a lot of work and love into the space! Would recommend!!

So good I stayed twice! This was my first (and only) Hipcamp experience, and it completely won me over. The space has such a cozy, unique, and welcoming vibe and everything you need is right there, and I honestly didn’t want to leave. The host was incredibly accommodating and super communicative with tips and directions. I even arrived late, and they came out with a flashlight to help me find the spot! I felt safe, happy, and so at home here. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We loved camping at Five Four’s during our visit to Sequoia! It was super convenient to access the park and the land had plenty of room for our van plus a tent. Temps were nearing 100 during our stay so we didn’t take full advantage of the space but the opportunities for an outdoor shower and dinner on the deck seem idyllic. Wed definitely recommend staying here. Especially during the cooler months.

Excellent spot. Had a great time with the family and dogs. Super close to the National Park entrance. Hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. They made a great safe space for our 2 dogs. Enough space for our 10 person tent. Really appreciate the hammock, picnic table, toilet and shower!

Had a brilliant time staying on Brewsters land! He is a solid camp host and long time local. The spot is the perfect nook for camping with the outdoor shower being a mega bonus. Incredible views and hospitality. Sadly we only stayed one night but easily would have been comfortable staying longer. The campsite is practically turn key, it took us no time to be set up and relaxing in the hammock. Lots of amenities taken care of before you even arrive. Definitely recommend.
