Our home does have AC/Heating by mini split units that are all new & purchased & installed in June 2022 and are maintained monthly. We also have 2 twin folding beds that can be set up in either bedroom or the living room. Purchased August 2022 for additional sleeping. Ring cameras are located on the outside of the property. No cameras are inside. Enjoy a nice evening on the front patio enjoying nature. A propane barbeque is located on the front porch. Absolutely no smoking on the property. Wildfires are common in & around the area & Three Rivers is a very high-risk area. Three Rivers has faced evacuation warnings in both 2020 & 2021 due to local raging wildfires. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING/FIRES ON/NEAR THE PROPERTY. BE ADVISED - Sequoia National Park has received significantly more snow and rain than normal this year (2023), which has resulted in some damage to some roadways within the park. Our home is 1622 sq ft with plenty of space to make yourself comfortable. As you walk into our home you will see our open living room and oversized couch. You’ll then immediately see our kitchen and dining room. Our kitchen table seats 4 and we have 2 barstools in the kitchen for the bar area. Down the hallway you’ll see our first bedroom with a Queen size bed, the laundry room, and a hallway bathroom. Then straight ahead you’ll see our master bedroom with a bathroom a walk-in closet, full bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. Our home does have AC/Heating by mini split units that are all new & purchased & installed in June 2022 and are maintained monthly. We also have 2 twin folding beds that can be set up in either bedroom or the living room. Purchased August 2022 for additional sleeping. Ring cameras are located on the outside of the property. No cameras are inside. Enjoy a nice evening on the front patio enjoying nature. A propane barbeque is located on the front porch. Absolutely no smoking on the property. Wildfires are common in & around the area & Three Rivers is a very high-risk area. Three Rivers has faced evacuation warnings in both 2020 & 2021 due to local raging wildfires. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING/FIRES ON/NEAR THE PROPERTY. BE ADVISED - Sequoia National Park has received significantly more snow and rain than normal this year (2023), which has resulted in some damage to some roadways within the park. We had a family trip planned to Sequoia NP and had a great stay with an infant and a toddler, 2 grandparents, and 4 adults. The house is spacious, well-appointed, conveniently located, and very clean. The kitchen has a great selection of appliances and cookware so you can easily make meals at home, and we enjoyed the pool (though a bit chilly this time of year!) and hot tub. Juneffer is a really responsive and accommodating host who clearly cares about her guests, and the property is a great reflection of it, with lots of attention to detail and small unexpected touches (snacks, lots of games and books for kids). Highly recommend if you want to be in the area!

Weekend Trip to Sequoia Secluded Escape

Kiley is super super quick to respond. The cabin was overall good but slightly more rustic than I had imagined. Our generator failed in the middle of the night in the second night which I think was just bad luck but meant we had no WiFi, which meant no signal at all in this area! There is cooling and a fan. It is right by Sequoia and King’s Canyon parks, but the drive from Three Rivers to the cabin ends up taking about 25 minutes extra. My one thing to improve- the towels were really nice but the bedsheets were polyester which I really hate, and made it super sweaty given the heat! View of the stars is amazing and super quiet up there, although the swamp cooler was pretty loud

This was our first camping trip with our dog and we even got lucky with being the only campers for the weekend. We went swimming and got to use the kayaks it was so much fun! In the cool morning into mid afternoon noon we sat on the dock under the umbrellas just reading our books. It did however get a bit loud someone was doing shooting practice and then the boats and sea doos were quite active in the later afternoon. Overall we really did enjoy every moment of our trip and the hosts are very kind. We can’t wait for our next trip to Mona’s.

Mona’s place is an amazing camping site, which includes wonderful river access and several options for tent locations under the trees in the shade. It has all you need for a luxury camping experience: refrigerator, shower, and restrooms, all well maintained. Also, Mona is very kind allowing us to use their kayaks! The top experience for the kids was the swing over the river enables a great jumping experience to the river. Also , in the area you can finch plenty of well maintained pick-nick tables, umbrellas, and chairs. In a 5-10 drive you can find stores for the basic supplies you need including groceries if you missed anything…☺️ We had lovely camping experience at Mona’s place, warmly recommended for others and we will be more than happy to be back again!
