Built in the 50’s it is sitting on 2 parcels and is over ½ acre in size. We also have 2 other cabins for rent in Julian for larger groups. The outhouse that you see was used when it was first built and now is for storage. The original owner built the house himself and it was originally on piers alone with no other foundation! There is a folder in the bedroom closet of the house over the years. The decorations were here when we bought it so we kept them to preserve the house’s uniqueness. We treasure this house which is nestled amongst the trees and has so many beautiful birds that visit. Many turkeys love to stop by too! If you hear the deep cooing from the monster doves (who are very shy) you can try to spot one. They are amazing. We really hope you love it as much as we do.

We had an amazing time glamping at Vicki’s. The stars were amazing, the forest calming, and we loved the yoga deck. Vicki was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The land is magical! The beds were super comfy and my young children and older dog really enjoyed themselves. Amazing adventure just over an hour away from home. Warning- we did use our 4 wheel drive to get around certain areas (and we loved it). Not the place to drive a lowriding car. We will most definitely be back!

The Little Red Barn is a cozy and comfortable glamping stay located conveniently near Valley Parkway in Escondido, close to shops, restaurants, and great hiking at Elfin Forest. It’s one of three glamping structures on the property. The high ceilings and additional loft mattress make the barn feel spacious, and we appreciated the little touches like electricity, a fan, and a heater for cooler nights. The shared bathroom area was clean, modern, and had reliable hot water — a big plus! There’s plenty of shared outdoor space with picnic tables, lounge chairs, and seating areas, making it a great place to relax. We didn’t even need to use the heater during our mid-October stay — the weather was perfect. This spot is a great introduction to camping for those who want the outdoor feel without being too far from the city. Our pup loved exploring the space (though the $50 pet fee is a bit on the higher side). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, laid-back glamping experience close to town!

Find yourself chilling by the pool or taking a nice hot shower after a hike at the lake. This is glamping at it's finest. Fan, light, Outdoor bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet. Grill a delicious meal on the gas BBQ. Put your drinks and food in the full size fridge outside. wifi throughout property. Please read everything about the space before requesting to book. This is an outdoor private YOME near our pool. Access to pool, BBQ (bring utensils you would bring camping, plates, napkins, towels, etc. There is a small sink to wash dishes (pleases only liquid down the drain) but we do not supply dishes, so paper/disposable stuff required if you plan on cooking) The pool, hot tub and outside bathroom is shared with our small family and anyone staying in the Poolside Lounge during the day if people are swimming, so you may meet some new people while staying at our place. The outdoor bathroom will be shared when other guests are at the pool swimming or hanging out and need to use the toilet, but most likely during the evening hours, it will be all yours, we always try to give a heads up if there will be anyone using the bathroom in the evening. The pool is shared, we live on the property across an easement and we have other rentals on the property. There is total privacy at the YOME. Everyone who comes to stay is friendly and chill, no drama here and not a party place, just good vibes :) We have a small farm on our property with chickens and loads of rare tropical fruits and veggies and we love to give tours and share with our guests. There are lot's of wineries in Ramona, about 30 minutes east in the mountains, as well as Julian to explore. Our glamp is great for a weekend destination or just for a rest on your way to another adventure. Although we love pets (we have a few dogs on the property), we cannot accept guests with pets at this time. share it with our guests and will be available during your whole stay if you need anything at all.
