Nights are full of sparkling stars and the big milky way and be seen on clear moonless nights. Our animals include; micro mini cows, minature silky fainting goats, mini horses, mini donkey, mini Kunekune pigs, mini roosters, horses and a pack of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. We have partnered with Forever Protected Equine, a non- profit to support the retired working horses on to our pastures wear they can live a natural equine life with friends. This is a critical time for horses well being and safety. Instead of an uncertain future or slaughter they come here to be gently cared for until their sunset day.

The two dogs that live on site were a wonderful greeting and farewell crew! The portable toilet was clean and conveniently located on the site. Lots of vineyards to go wine tasting to that were a short drive away. Brought some twinkle lights with us that we put up to add more lighting and a special feel."

The property is nestled in very quiet part of Atascadero among hundreds of oak trees and nature. There are 5 acres of hills of oak trees, bay leaf trees, frequented by the tree squirrels, deer and birds that live all over the property. The house is occupied and there are chickens and a sweet lab named Maverick. The driveway is easy to get in and out of for a car, truck, camper van, Westie (or same type of camper van); tent campers are welcome too. It's not very easily accessible for large trailers. The neighborhood is very quiet. Water is available by hose by the garage (it's not filtered) and if you have a pet 100% needs to be leashed and please pick up their poop. There's been mountain lion sightings within the last few years. There is no bathroom/cleanout, power or cell service/WIFI. You will be completely disconnected here. Learn more about this land: A beautiful spot in a vineyard with peaceful rolling hills with tons of privacy in Paso Robles Wine Country. We offer a level spot beside a barn surrounded by apple trees and acres of vineyard. There is a small fire pit.  A perfect location for outdoor activities and wine tasting around Paso Robles Wine Country, secluded and surrounded by nature.  Live working vineyard, may experience vineyard operations from time to time.  FALL DISCLOSURE: Two nights of harvesting will happen between late September and late October, but unlikely disturb your stay (though we cannot not guarantee as we are an operating vineyard).  It's kinda cool to watch if you happen to be here during our harvesting of wine grapes.  If desired, contact us a few days before your scheduled stay to get the harvesting schedule.  Our tasting room is currently closed for daily tasting, the upper buildings on the property may be rented out for private parties and overnight stays. These buildings are approximately 300 yards from the hip camp location and are not in  direct few of our Hip Camp site.  If you are interested in renting out the upper buildings, please inquire with host.  WINERIES As of now Central Coast wineries are requiring tasting appointments by reservation under California law as of 2020.  Weekend reservations are highly recommended. 2 nights at Wolf Six Ranch • Wine Country Stay

This is a very special property, it felt like we walked for miles each day with our dogs in gentle rolling hills dotted with beautiful oak trees and not having any indication of humanity, lots of nature. Each night we walked up the nearby hill to watch the seemingly endless sunsets transform from yellows oranges and reds into shades of purple. The site is clean level and easy to access and the hookups are easy and clean. Christy was responsive, helpful and friendly with a nice gift bag upon arrival and other baking options in the mornings. There’s no doubt we’ll visit many more times when we need a nature break. Highly recommend.

We loved camping out with our camper van here! The spot was beautiful and kept clean. We had a lot of privacy, and were able to find the spot pretty quickly with the directions given. It was on my mom’s bucket list and she just loved camping out in a vineyard. We were a family of 5 + dog and It made a very memorable evening on our roadtrip.

A very friendly host, Douglas, received us, showed us where to park to get the best view! It is a farm Oasis! No other word for it! It is one of the most peacefull, quiet and calming spot we’ve been to! And just what we needed after the craziness of Los Angeles! And your night skies….wow!! Olwyn, Douglas and sons, dogs Rumbles, Wookie, Lizzy, Winnie, Yogi and all the other animals (goats, horses, Tom the turkey, pigs, ducks and cows); thank you so much for having us!

This spot is a little peace of heaven. Our drive in from LA, through the Santa Monica National Recreation Area and up the pacific coast highway was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever made. The rolling hills surrounded by farm and vineyard were the perfect setting to close our day. Perfect temps in July and we slept with the windows open and didn’t even run the generator??? Spot was level and clean and great communication from Olwyn. She gave our kids an incredible tour of the farm and let them help with all the animals. Quick stay but would recommend without reservation! A+++

What an exceptional spot! So peaceful! The hosts are welcoming and warm, just truly good people. Meeting the animals was beyond what I could have imagined. So many cute animals living their best life there under Olwyns amazing care. The kids LOVED it so much and couldn't wait to return to the campsites after our daytrips to greet the dogs. The dogs are such sweethearts and we were so sad to say goodbye. My daughter is still drawing pictures of Lizzy all the time and says she will never forget her. Highly recommend 10/10!
