If you need to pop into town for any supplies or services you can access Borrego Springs (20 miles away), Julian (40 miles away), Ramona (45 miles away), and Temecula (50 miles away). We have 3 horseshoe pits and 9 frisbee golf baskets for recreation onsite and we have incredible dark skies for excellent stargazing. You may see many different forms of wildlife including mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, bob cats, racoons, badgers, and rattle snakes. You will see many rabbits, squirrels and tons of birds of all kinds! We are really the perfect location for those who love the outdoors! Owners live on site but we like to greet, meet, and then leave you to your stay! Please reach out if you have questions or concerns though. About the listing Our listing is for tents, vans and truck campers, trailers, or RV’s and we can accommodate rigs up to 25ft in length. A few of our 5 sites are pull through sites on dirt and may require some leveling. All sites are dry camping only as we do not have any hookups, though there are two bathrooms and water available in a centralized area on the property. You can expect High desert and scrub brush environments. Any vehicle should be able to access our property but 4-wheel drive vehicle might make it a little easier to access areas on the outside perimeter of the property. The location is very magical and the hot springs are healing. He has created a beautiful space and harvest the best dates I have ever eaten. Weekend Trip to Section B Ranch

I’ve been hipcamping on primitive spots for many years, but this place nestled amongst the pepper trees at the top of the ridge was one of the most exceptional! The host, Jason, is one of the coolest folks you can meet; he has made an oasis that highlights the natural ruggedness and roughness of the high desert, along with everything you could possibly need. The spot really is a treasure- it’s completely quiet, undisturbed, serene, not too far from Anza (20ish minutes) but feels worlds away. Right off the PCT, you have all basic needs at Jason’s place- filtered water, shade, VIEWS, but also anything else needed if you want to take advantage of all Jason has set up- a full working bathroom which was unexpected but super nice! Jason is welcoming and open with his property and time, and if you want to relax with no judgement, or get weird in the wild, or simply do nothing, this is the place to stretch out and settle away from others and the business of life. There’s plenty to walk around, see and experience the local fauna and animals (Jason knows them all and will gladly give a tour and name all the plants and critters). The views are incredible, with the sun setting over Table Top Mtn every night. The drive there was do-able in my Prius, rough but doable, and will use a different vehicle next time. The directions were super easy. Jason’s communication was superb, his pup Roo was the best greeter and most mellow dog you could ask for. Will def be back and 10/10 recommend

Beautiful site, very private. There are two camp sites side by side but the area is wide enough to not be crowded. Camp site was nicely shaded and flat so it was easy to set up our tent. There were areas we could drive up and unpack the cars directly in to camp. The ad says no potable water but there is a hose with water which was convenient for other uses. Tubing was fun but we did find used fishing line wrapped around a branch near the bank. That was a little gross and dangerous. Definitely recommend river shoes. Our pups were happy running around and also enjoyed the water but there is a resident peacock that although gorgeous, does make a lot of noise. Our pups were curious so we had to keep an eye on them and make sure they stayed close to camp. At night, Mr. Peacock likes to perch on a tree near the restrooms so be prepared for the giant bird silhouette looming over you! It's beautiful! There were a lot of sounds at night, machines, vehicles, and wildlife. If you're a light sleeper, may not be easy to ignore but otherwise it was very relaxing. Julian was quick to respond to any questions. This is definitely our new favorite camp spot.

This was an incredibly serene site, and Gordon was an exceptional host. He made sure to have the spring temperature hot when we needed it, and recommended spots in the area to check out. The little cabana offered perfect shelter we didn’t even have to use our tent. Both pools were very clean and refreshing. A bonus, the view of the stars was amazing!

Such a beautiful and relaxing stay! The bath was perfect, over looking the desert. We enjoyed three baths and Gordon was so kind to fill them up and adjusted to our preferred temperature. The water is full of minerals and left our skin feeling smooth. Will be back :)

All I can say is wow! Thank you, Gordon, for allowing us to enjoy your hot springs. The one night we spent there felt like a week of relaxation. We definitely took advantage of the water, late night and very early in the morning. You are a great host to your land, and we truly hope everyone respects the cleanliness of it all. Gordon’s place is excellent, and he is a terrific host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning next year. The properly is serene, with a gorgeous view of the sky and the desert. I highly recommend a weekend getaway here, with long soaks in the mineral spring to whomever needs a good dose of therapy.
