This was one of the most wonderful and charming trips we’ve been on. Amazing fresh food, great beer, and the camping setup was superb! The stars were incredible. We can’t wait to come back!

We love staying on Shirley and Keith’s land. It’s wonderful to have full hookups in a nice quiet, safe, neighborhood with a private patio. This place is perfect if you are passing through or staying a while longer. Very safe place for families and though there are other sites on either side it is usually not a problem if someone is in them there is enough room for everyone to have their own space.

Beautiful. Interesting place. Nice people. A little awkward finding the right camping spot w shade due to needing to avoid driving over ubiquitous irrigation hoses.

We had a great time, nice and relaxing, quiet and the neighbors around were very nice. Watching the golfers every morning was a blast! Very nice neighborhood we walked our dog in the evening and everyone was super friendly we felt very safe the whole time! Gorgeous sunset views right from the rv! Very well kept property! Joseph was very helpful with all questions and always responded quickly, we will definitely be back!

3 nights at Yuma’s Own Little Campland

I spent 3 months boondocking in the desert and I needed a few days of civilization to get clean, shop, and make some repairs. This little RV park was perfect. Wonderful neighborhood. I enjoyed walking my dogs near the golf course and letting them run off-leash. I'll keep this place as one of my favorites. Highly recommend.

Great little spot. Paved patio with privacy fence. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access. The owners were very easy to work with. Concerned they were meeting our needs. When returning next year, definitely in my phone book!

the camp was very cute, the bed perfect. the host very accommodating. food on site and they provide a propane fire for smores! they also have a heater in the tent! the playground wasn’t sturdy and the bathroom soap wasn’t working but apart from that it’s great for kids to run around and play! nice desert getaway!

We truly enjoyed parking among the Date Palm trees for the evening. Watching the sun set and rise over the trees was beautiful. We were disappointed the brewery was not open the night we were there as it looks like a fun place.

This was a fantastic place. Keith and Shirley were very responsive when I had any question. The location is great and quiet. And everything worked there including excellent Wi-Fi. Yes I would stay here again.

Loved this spot in the Foothills! It was a nice, quiet spot to explore the Yuma area. There are a total of four spots on the lot. Each spot has a concrete slab, privacy fence and access to the washing machine. The hosts are very responsive! We would definitely stay here again when we visit Yuma next!

Unique opportunity for quiet camping on a date farm surrounded by mountains, and to enjoy live music and good food and beer! This is a return trip for us.

7 nights at Laura's Lot

Laura's lot is in a good location in the Fortuna Foothills. It is close to restaurants and shopping (Fry's, Walmart) about 10 minutes away. Yet the neighborhood is quiet, a good place for walking or riding a bike. There are some offroad trails to the east, north and west. Full hookups - had no problems. No barking dogs or chickens, minor Interstate traffic noise. Good views of the hills. Hosts were very helpful and nice.

Picacho truly calls to all hardy adventurers. It was a gold mining town with 100 citizens more than a century ago. This park offers rugged desert mountains, colorful canyons, and the Colorado River. Keep an eye out for beavertail cactus, wild burros, the famous bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory birds. Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner. No Pop-up campers, Campervans, or Cars Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here! We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. Hiking up to Telegraph Pass is 2 minutes! ATV trails are 50' from the property. We are in a 55+ area but short term families are welcome. The Colorado River and Martinez and Mittry Lakes are nearby for boating, fishing, and tubing. Lots of activities in downtown Yuma. Enjoy the beautiful winter weather and the gorgeous sunsets from a private lot.
