• Please keep pets away from cactus—they bite!
• We’re located in a desert neighborhood, so please respect the nearby homes. My house and neighbors house will be in view from your campsite.

Our 2 accessible acres will give you 360 view of mountains, our Red Rock Roping arena, and a Saloon to gather under to enjoy cool refreshments, and a meal with your friends/family. Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed.
Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too!
We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance.

Here we are at 5,500 ft in elevation, on 14 acres of land in open canopy forest with oak, ponderosa, juniper, and manzanita. We are ten miles from the closest town on a dirt road in the Prescott National Forest. The camping is primitive and there are many suitable places for you to put up a tent. We will provide a bucket with woodchips for your bathroom needs. This is an off-grid experience, please expect that there are no amenities. You will need to bring everything you need, including toilet paper! There are great hikes around us in the National Forest. While your campsite is private, our property is just over two acres—so you'll also see neighboring homes. If you're looking for complete solitude with no sights, sounds, or smells of ranch life, I recommend dispersed camping elsewhere.

Hiking and horseback riding trails lead directly from the property into Spur Cross Conservation Area—or take a short 10-minute drive to a main trailhead. Black Mountain Hiking Trail is also nearby and offers panoramic views of the valley. You can even ride your horse into town and tie up at the local cowboy bars!

• The landscape varies with the season—there won’t be green grass in the summer
• Please keep pets away from cactus—they bite!
• We’re located in a desert neighborhood, so please respect the nearby homes. My house and neighbors house will be in view from your campsite.

Our 2 accessible acres will give you 360 view of mountains, our Red Rock Roping arena, and a Saloon to gather under to enjoy cool refreshments, and a meal with your friends/family. Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed.
Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too!
We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance.

We are ten miles from the closest town on a dirt road in the Prescott National Forest. The camping is primitive and there are many suitable places for you to put up a tent. We will provide a bucket with woodchips for your bathroom needs. This is an off-grid experience, please expect that there are no amenities. You will need to bring everything you need, including toilet paper! There are great hikes around us in the National Forest. Margarita Ranch is such a unique and beautiful place to stay! It was the perfect introduction to the Phoenix area for us. So many huge, beautiful saguaros, super dark at night to see the sky lit up with stars, and the friendliest pigs, horses, and donkeys to pet. Macy was a super communicative and hospitable host. We even found a wonderful hike to do after we checked out that was an under 15 minute drive from the site— Jewel of the Creek Preserve. We had such a great time.

Great camp location with easy access to conveniences while still being close to trails, countryside, mountains, and great hiking. The camp is professionally run, and it shows — the host has truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and easy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the friendly goats, and the free-range chickens were the most well-mannered we’ve ever seen — present but never intrusive.
A relaxing, well-organized spot that we’d absolutely stay at again. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, GPS led us miles off course which prevented us from reaching the resort before sundown. We were not able to reach staff after hours.
That being said, once we made it we were warmly greeted, given a rundown of information and personally escorted to our beautiful pull-through RV site. The amenities are top-notch, especially the heated pool, The staff are very accommodating.
(TIP) If GPS leads you to a random spot in the middle of the desert, it is south of the I10.

Great place, great people! Cory is truly one of the most hospitable and friendly people you could ever meet. He set up the fire for us before we arrived, lent us his fishing rod, and even showed us the beautiful route to the private lake. He also shared his amazing biking skills with my son, which made the experience even more memorable. Directions clear, found the site after dark without issue. Cory is responsive and provides a welcoming site. Site has two well placed trees to provide natural shade for the tent. Site is fenced in, with a swing close gate - provides peace of mind for those with kids. Plenty of space, we fit a 10 person and a canopy with space for likely 1-2 more tents.
We biked to the lake, very tucked location, not public access, so had it to ourselves. Great view of the distant mountains. Fish may be smarter than us as we only managed a small tilapia, but the lake is lively with plenty of fish jumping out along the shore line.
Portable bathroom was pristinely clean, one of the best we’ve seen.
Site is well kept, we look forward to returning and seeing what else Cory can do with the place!
Most importantly - Cory is a phenomenal host - welcoming, helpful, and laid back. Especially welcoming and willing to help with anything we needed - he went above and beyond to make our weekend trip great. Absolutely recommend this site!
