Our tent site includes a deck platform with securement hooks to assemble your tent on and stay safely elevated off the ground. RVs welcome! We can currently accommodate up to a 36ft travel trailer or horse trailer with living quarters. This is a dry camp area. There is a portable toilet with sink for campers to utilize. We also have an Inverter as a rental option to provide power for an RVer if so desired. We can also fill Fresh Water Tanks for use while camping. We are currently working on a dump station. Also to ensure that we keep our little slice of heaven beautiful, please pack out what you pack in. Please do not leave trash or food at the campsites or leave food unsecured this will attract wildlife which will surely make your camping trip interesting. Our property is surrounded with views of Mount Lemmon, the Tortolita Mountain Park, Black Mountain, Newman Peak, and Picacho Peak. Come enjoy the prolific wildflowers of the desert bloom this spring! Campers can enjoy a warm beautiful sunset and star gazing in the evening, with views of the hazy band of the Milky Way and shooting stars next to the fire pit provided at each site. This is a safe place to get off the road for a bit, or to take a break from the busy/noisy city life, to relax and unwind in nature! Dogs are welcome, but please pick up after your pet! There is also a Round Pen provided for travelers with up to 2 horses with a fill station for water. Feed will be intermittently available to purchase for those in need. I have had the best time here for a month long stay - the space has shade and cement platforms, firepits, water and electric. The groundskeeper is super responsive and upkeeps the property perfectly! Office/Shop w plenty of goodies. And spacious laundry room! Clean bathrooms w spacious showers. Gorgeous sunsets and charming chicken coop w emus. Excellent spot! Not much privacy for tenting - lots of vehicles driving past at all times lol but that is just a sign of a healthy RV camping resort! Thank you!!!!!

5 nights at Gila River View

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host, Amber, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and private and we never heard any noise other than nature. We loved that it's a working cattle ranch with horses, cattle, and pigs. The animals were all friendly and never bothered us. Oh, there was a very friendly barn cat that did snuggle with us a bunch! The camper was an amazing accommodation that offered everything we needed for an indoor experience and sleeping. The hiking opportunities are endless here! With just a 10 minute hike you can be on the top of a mountain overlooking 2 different valleys that the Gila river runs through. In about a 20-25ish minute hike you can make it from the camp clear into a hidden valley on the back side and make it right up to a secret spot next to the Gila river. We spent half a day at this spot relaxing and enjoying the weather and nature! It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town for any supplies or if you want a restaurant. We only went once to get more drinking water and we were back at camp within the hour! We will definitely stay here again! We love the place and it's less than 2 hours from our house! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you so much Amber! We appreciated everything you did to make our stay wonderful! : )

This place was absolutely beautiful! Clean restrooms and nice and warm/hot shower. Taylor was friendly and easy to communicate with, Getting here was a breeze. I will say if you want a completely quiet stay or if you’re a light sleeper this place might not be for you since you can hear cars as they’re driving by. But 10/10 recommend!!!

1 night at Weary Traveler Haven

I enjoyed my brief stay at Weary Traveler Haven and definitely plan to book again when I need a great place away from the city to star-gaze. Booked this stay to watch the Orionid meteor shower and was not disappointed. The tent platform was the ideal place to lay back and watch the sunset and meteor shower and then sunrise the next morning. I also appreciated the fire pit with its included grill. And it was incredibly nice having a clean and conveniently located restroom within easy walking distance from the camping spot. The location of this hipcamp spot was easy to get to, the instructions were simple to follow, and I was greeted shortly after my arrival with the fresh loaf of sourdough I purchased from the hosts. They were unfortunately out of the jam, but promptly reimbursed me and sincerely apologized. If you can afford to, definitely treat yourself to a loaf. It was delicious. Communication with the hosts was also really easy and their responses back were quick and always friendly. There was a bit of construction going on close to the property which started early in the morning, but it didn't bother me much. Overall, I had an incredible time at this location and plan to book again in the future.

At 29 years old I have never once been in a treehouse, I loved the treehouse! I love that I got to experience it. it had beautiful views, absolutely adored the birds chirping in the early morning and the sprinkler going off giving this amazing fresh smell of grass in the morning, it was such a refreshing wake up that I absolutely needed after having such a hectic week at work. Would absolutely recommend.
