5 nights at Gila River View

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host, Amber, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and private and we never heard any noise other than nature. We loved that it's a working cattle ranch with horses, cattle, and pigs. The animals were all friendly and never bothered us. Oh, there was a very friendly barn cat that did snuggle with us a bunch! The camper was an amazing accommodation that offered everything we needed for an indoor experience and sleeping. The hiking opportunities are endless here! With just a 10 minute hike you can be on the top of a mountain overlooking 2 different valleys that the Gila river runs through. In about a 20-25ish minute hike you can make it from the camp clear into a hidden valley on the back side and make it right up to a secret spot next to the Gila river. We spent half a day at this spot relaxing and enjoying the weather and nature! It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town for any supplies or if you want a restaurant. We only went once to get more drinking water and we were back at camp within the hour! We will definitely stay here again! We love the place and it's less than 2 hours from our house! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you so much Amber! We appreciated everything you did to make our stay wonderful! : )

I’ve stayed here twice, both times a great experience. Proximity to boththe city and to nature. Flush toilet, sink, and shower are huge bonuses. It’s such a unique and picturesque spot. I felt lucky to find it on HipCamp. Niko is very responsive as well.

This cozy little treehouse feels like a woodland retreat in the middle of a neighborhood. It made me feel like a kid! The hosts were amazing. The outdoor shower was absolutely refreshing after a long day of driving. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

We loved this place! It was off the beaten path & slightly difficult to find due to road construction but, they met us at the road and lead us back to the campsite! Couldn’t have asked for better! It’s beautiful & wide open. We enjoyed watching the quail running about. We cooked out and counted several shooting stars. The bathrooms were new and in great condition. Would absolutely love to stay there again!

At 29 years old I have never once been in a treehouse, I loved the treehouse! I love that I got to experience it. it had beautiful views, absolutely adored the birds chirping in the early morning and the sprinkler going off giving this amazing fresh smell of grass in the morning, it was such a refreshing wake up that I absolutely needed after having such a hectic week at work. Would absolutely recommend.

Our family absolutely loved staying here. This will be one we look forward to staying at frequently. Everything was clean, and provided. It was a good stay at the ranch. We enjoyed seeing the animals and sitting in the creek even though it was pretty cold! Don’t think twice about booking this place ! Our host went above and beyond and the experience was great.

My goodness!!! This was such a wonderful experience. My friend and ai went out to Phoenix for the first ever Reggae Rise Up Festival in Tempe and stayed in Niko’s treehouse. Their ENTIRE house is beautiful and oh so peaceful ☺️…. The treehouse had everything we needed for our stay, I especially loved the shampoo and conditioner 😂. Showering outdoors felt so good, it’s a must have for a house. The sweet little old collie was walking around (as best she could), the swing was an added charm, I felt so calm and peaceful the entire weekend. I would definitely come back to stay another weekend. Beautiful and fun treehouse to stay in! Lovely native landscaping with many birds. Phoenix Mtn Preserve hiking one block away. Very clean and functional full outdoor bathroom. Niko was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!
