The city of Page sits on the very edge of Arizona's northern border. It's a particularly popular staging point for travelers heading to Grand Canyon National Park. Head about two hours south on US-89 to reach the gorge. Page is also on the southern edge of Utah's Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. This enormous 1.25-million acre area is excellent for those who enjoy time spent on the water. Camp right on the shore of Lake Powell for easy access to fishing and swimming. Bass, bluegill, walleye and catfish make their home in Lake Powell. Hit the convenient Wahweap RV & Campground if you're coming to Lake Powell via RV. I loved the wagon! It was such a cozy and comfortable experience. While there was a heater, the wagon stayed warm enough but a little chilly by the bed. The rest of the campsite was also good.

The spot at Page Lake Powell's was ideal for a base camp in northern Arizona. The campground is close to many outdoor activities. The sites were too close together, but thankfully there were open spots right next to us. The campground host got us a fire pit, which was really nice! The downside was being right by the sewage dump.

We stayed in one of the glamping wagons and really enjoyed it. Check-in after hours was very easy. The wagon was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay including AC/heater, coffee maker, also had a TV (which we dint use). The campground itself was quiet, well-kept, hot showers, but the bathrooms are shared and could be cleaned more frequently. It's close to all the Page attractions. A fun and unique experience!
