Feel secure leaving your home on wheels inside a fully gated property in a quiet, safe community while you explore the wonders of the Verde Valley, including Sedona.

Our location is mid-way between Ash Fork and Seligman, AZ off of Route 66.
It is pristine juniper covered land in every direction at 5200'+ elevation with incredible Northwest Arizona mountain and valley views. If you're looking to enjoy the off-grid camping experience, come stay a night or 2 on "The 40 on Rte. 66." During new moon times, the sky is full of stars and the Milky Way is easily visible. During full moon times, the trees and ground are lit up in all directions. Sightings of deer and jackrabbits are common as well as hearing coyotes in the distance. Being open range land, the cattle will wander into sight. Various cacti and desert plants around the campsites. Nearby Route 66 attractions include Ash Fork, Seligman and Williams. Grand Canyon National Park is approx. 1.5 hours away. We are along the longest remaining un-interrupted section of Route 66.
We have several improved camp sites to make your stay easier; however, there are plenty of unmarked and unimproved areas within the Hipcamp area for you to stay. This is our land but you are welcomed to camp your way. All are welcomed. 420 friendly. Please be respectful of your fellow Hipcampers.

Another fantastic stay at Jennifer’s. Stayed 12 more nights and hiked 47 miles. Great location to Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona. With the fenced in yard I could play ball with my poodle every afternoon. Full hook ups and nice neighborhood. I’ll see you guys in 2027!

The covered dry camp had a terrific view of the valley and beautiful Arizona sunsets. Emily was very nice to deal with. I stayed two days, just resting. I enjoyed watching Emily train her dogs to run an obstacle course! It was a fun, peaceful time and I highly recommend her and her camp.

This is a Gem of a campground! You can tell Clifford really enjoys making the campground a great place to come and enjoy nature and unwind. Loved the store, the firewood, and the meditation/contemplation sitting area, the views, and the peace. The road to get there has some rough spots, but my AWD camper van did just fine, I thought of them as reminders to just slow down and enjoy the journey!

Our stay with Clifford was truly wonderful. Clifford is quite possibly the kindest person we have ever met. While we were en route to his site, we experienced several mechanical issues with our camper, and from the very first message Clifford was nothing but understanding, flexible, and incredibly supportive. He was so accommodating with our arrival time, endlessly patient, and always quick to respond — his communication alone instantly put us at ease during what could have been a very stressful situation.
We travelled from Los Angeles to Las Vegas over eight days, staying at several different camps along the way, and this was without question our favourite. The location is breathtakingly peaceful. The sky was unbelievably clear, allowing us to see more stars than we ever have before. Watching the sunrise from the site was genuinely magical, and the entire area felt calm, tranquil, and completely removed from the noise of everyday life. Most importantly, we felt entirely safe and welcome throughout our stay.
This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave — not just because of the stunning surroundings, but because of the warmth and generosity of the host. We loved the site so much we joked about moving in with Clifford… and honestly, we’re only half joking.
Thank you, Clifford, for such a special and unforgettable experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

Jennifer and George are the perfect hosts. There if you need them and otherwise give you your privacy. It’s a perfect location for hiking Sedona. I could be on the trail in 20 min. Also from camp it’s a great walk down to Oak Creek low water bridge. I stayed for 4 nights and then rebooked for 12 more!!

Clifford is absolutely wonderful he attends to your every need plus he makes a place feel very safe and secure. I sometimes travel alone and it's nice to know I can lay my head and put my stuff aside for the night because I'm taking care of. If you're looking for a quiet and spacious campsite, look no further! Clifford is an amazing host and has a wonderful camp store filled with anything you may need while roughing it. You can also enjoy going on hikes and afternoon campfires while reveling in star gazing without light pollution. Also, there's a party in the potty, but I'll let you discover that when you get here!
