What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage on the property! The cottage itself was very clean with more amenities than what we expected. The bed was comfortable and there is wifi and basic cable for the tv, for the times that we were not out exploring the property itself or the surrounding areas. On the property there are animals (horses, goats chickens) and the hosts have 3 wonderful, friendly dogs. The hosts (Joe & Barb) are wonderful people and provided valuable insight and advice of the property and surrounding areas. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay for the few days we were there, and we already miss it! If you want to be in the mountains, somewhat remote but still close to many points of interest and activities, this is the place to be! We highly recommend this cottage and property and will most likely return for our next trip to northern AZ!!!

2 nights at The Outpost Grand Canyon
We stayed in the Premium Airstream and it was unreal!! 2 nights felt like we had lived there for months. It was so calm & quiet - and privacy was such a plus. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights looking up at the stars. Unreal experience! The airstream is so spacious & cozy and had everything we needed. Chris was great with anything we inquired about and always around if we had questions. Also sunset viewing was a big bonus… pure silent sunsets. Perfect way to reset. We’ve always told many friends about it and how it’s 10000% worth to stay there. Great for anyone wanting to go to the Grand Canyon but not be in a busy or cramped area.

I really a really great stay here! Locked myself out right when I got there, but the staff was helpful and quick to respond to my needs. The airstream was clean and cozy. Brought my baby husky with and she enjoyed time playing at the on site dog park. Had great nights sitting in the hot tub and gazing at the night skies, 10/10 for service and amenities and will definitely be back soon!!

2 nights at The Outpost Grand Canyon
We loved our airstream camper! Everything we needed for our two day stay was included. We used the communal grill for our dinners. The area is quiet and relaxing. Chris was close by and available if we needed him. Highly recommend!

My entire family instantly fell in love with the cabin before we even walked inside. The setting, the smell, the sound of the winds blowing in the trees- simply magical. We made forever memories here and I can’t wait to come back!
The hosts have done an amazing job at labeling entering and providing you with everything you need. Their communication was great and you can tell they put so much love and attention into their property. One of the few places on here where you truly just need to bring yourself. Thank you for such a great adventure!

1 night at Grand Canyon High-Desert Art Escape
Absolutely loved our stay in this little camper. It's so cozy and well put together you can tell a lot of love has gone into it. We enjoyed looking around at all the unique creative touches, especially the ceiling 😍
While there are other campers nearby it still feels like you have your own private space. Getting to the Grand canyon was also convenient from here. We plan to return next year!

3 nights at Verde River Vortex
Staying at Jason's cabin was exactly what this trip of adventure into the great outdoors called for. Crystal loft was super cozy and the upper deck was a beautiful added bonus, especially on the night of a full 🌕 I would definitely recommend an SUV for the trip.

Weekend Trip to Verde River Vortex
The Jupiter cabin was a great experience. We loved being out in the country with small beautiful towns close by. Jason was a perfect host and operated like a well oiled machine. It’s a beautiful oasis, pretty easy to find and well kept. The beds in the airstream were so comfy. The fridge was a nice size for a trailer and clean. We had a snafu with the water but I’m sure they will work it out. Beautiful sky and so close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

1 night at The Outpost Grand Canyon
We stayed at The Outpost Grand Canyon during our Grand Canyon trip and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire experience. The Airstream was surprisingly spacious, extremely clean, and very well designed. It had the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.
One of the best parts of the stay was the peace and quiet. The sunsets were beautiful, and at night the sky was absolutely unreal — we saw more stars than we ever have before. Sitting outside under the Arizona sky made the trip feel special and memorable instead of just another hotel stay.
Chris was an amazing host from the moment we arrived. He was welcoming, friendly, and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do around the area. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests having a good experience.
The location is also perfect if you’re visiting the Grand Canyon — close enough for convenience but far enough to enjoy the calm desert atmosphere.
Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing Grand Canyon stay.

We had such a great time during our stay here, it was plenty of space for our family and puppers! The host Jason was great and reached out to see if we needed anything during our stay, he also has a wealth of knowledge on places to explore and things to see in the area, which was great. The stars out there at night are absolutely breathtaking! Would absolutely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Glamper Cabin in the Aspens & Pines
It was a really lovely stay. The place felt perfectly cozy. It did get chilly at night and the area had normal rural-y neighborhood sounds that echo (wasn't a bother), trucks, barking, kids playing, chainsaws and such. We had a few dogs from the area say hi too, but they were all sweet. A lantern died on us, but I recommend bringing your own lights as well, just in case.
It smelled great outside and the breeze in the trees was quite delightful along with the birds chirping away. The wood stove was easy to use and we didn't have an issue with water except it being heavy to haul. You'll have to go outside for good natural lighting and leave the inside for nighttime cozy cabin activities. It was a little difficult to wash hands and dishes in the kitchen sink (a short hand pump).
Overall a really nice stay, we didn't want to leave. I'd def like to live in a neighborhood like this. Thanks!

Clifford made it super inviting and comfortable to be there, this was my first camping trip with my girlfriend, we both really enjoyed our time there!!! It’s a must check out spot especially if you have dogs. Thank you for making this campground a safe space for all!!
