There is a small Amphitheater in the bottom of the hollow where permanent water remains year round. Dark Hollow has played many rolls from sancuary to battleground over the years. There are numerous activities with in a short distance.

Its only a couple of acres but its surrounded by woods, with only .03 miles to the Park Entrance, there are a couple security lights, lots of walking trails in the area, a boat dock one mile away, Lake Wedowee is a huge lake, which is great for fishing, Kayaking , swimming and relaxing!
