Choose any spot to set up camp but our favourite is next to the beautiful lake-like dam.
Guests are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
It's only 2km to Trafalgar town centre and 5 KM to Moe. We are pet friendly but please ensure your pet does not bother other campers or local wildlife.
Contained campfires are permitted when there are no restrictions in place.

The Naracan falls is on the way to Thorpedale

Willow grove and the Blue Rock Dam makes for a pretty drive to north in the hills

We welcome self-contained campers to enjoy the laid-back serenity of our farm stay setting. The property is situated adjacent to the State forest, so you'll have nature at your doorstep, with bush walks and an abundance of wildlife, not to mention meeting the local resident animals; Our two horses, two Highland cows, many chickens, guinea pigs and of course, Zeik, our lovable Goat!
We have plenty of green, open space, for you to set up. We also have an undercover area to sit, with a kettle, toaster, and power point to charge phones which you are welcome to use.
Please Note: There is a slight undulation in much of the cleared area, so some campers/caravans may require leveling. If you require a flat area, please message us to see if we have one available.
There are no amenities on the property so you will need to be self-sufficient (camp toilet, shower and cooking appliances). Any rubbish is to be taken home.
Public holidays/Long weekends have a minimum nightly stay, please message us for any queries.
Please note, Millers Farm is a place for travelers who are after a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. It is not a place for rowdy groups.
We love all animals including Dogs, but unfortunately, due to our roaming animals, we cannot entertain pets anymore.
Long periods of wet weather may affect some of the camping areas. Therefore, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather report close to your stay and if you have any concerns, please touch base with us!

Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

Pitch your tent or camper surrounding our picturesque dam with 3 jetties, a boat shed and walking track along dam. As you will be the only guest, the peace and quiet property feels like no one is around you as you are approximately 200 metres from the main residence but not too far to walk to the laundry with toilet for your convenience.
Throw in a line to catch a silver perch, bass or get the kids to catch some yabbies, they are great cooked up with chilli & garlic.
Our property joins onto the Neerim East State Park for those walking enthusiasts or we can accommodate your horse in our yards should you want to explore the bush with many tracks directly from the property.

Erica Mountain Bike Park) right at our back door as well as skiing and tobogganing or simply exploring the wonderful natural environment and historic townships.

We have a 1 acre property in Westbury which is surrounded by farmland. Our property is on a quiet road (it was originally the main road, but now Obrien's rd is the main road so it's pretty quiet at our place). We will only advertise 1 site on our property to allow anyone who camps to have a bit more space to themselves.
-Currently all campers will need to be fully self contained as we don't have a toilet available and we ask that shower water goes into a grey water tank. There are dump points in Yinnar, Neerim South and Rawson.
-Water is available (there is a tap just near the site) but we just ask that you please don't fill up caravan tanks as we are on tank water.
-We can provide a firepit during the cooler months/once out of the fire danger period (happy for you to collect sticks/timber that's fallen from trees from the property but you may need to bring firewood if you want to have a fire going for longer).
-We live on the property but the Hipcamp spot is further away from the house to allow for a bit of privacy for both (there is a small building in between the camp spot and the house). The camp spot is about 15 metres from the road (bitumen road so no dust) but it is a quiet road with very little traffic. We are about 7kms north of the highway so you won't hear highway noise at night.
-Pets are welcome but we ask that they are on a lead and any animal poo is picked up. Our road is rather quiet so it is a good spot to take a dog for a walk and enjoy the nice views of the area and Mt Baw Baw in the distance.
-We will provide bins.
-Campers are welcome to have a walk around the property but we ask that you don't go up around the house or sheds.
-Phone service is available (we use Aldi mobile which uses the Telstra network), albeit it isn't strong.
-Our place is 10 minutes out of Moe (a decent sized town, major supermarkets + plenty of shops, places to eat out, plenty of takeaway stores etc), but we are also on the footsteps of the high country and many beautiful spots to explore such as Walhalla (45 mins) and Mt Baw Baw (60-75 mins). We also have Blue Rock Dam (10 mins) and Lake Narracan (15 mins) nearby.
-We just ask campers to be respectful with noise between the hours of 10pm-7am.
*We are new to hosting a Hipcamp site so please let us know if you have any questions or if we have missed anything. We're campers/travellers ourselves so we are happy to help with anything we can and we have plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area.
