Gore Creek Campground

Located along its namesake, forested Gore Creek Campground is neighborinos with the Eagle’s Nest Wilderness and hosts many traditional camping activities. There is one handicapped accessible site along with four handicapped accessible bathrooms, plus food storage lockers. While we’re on the subject, remember to take those lockers seriously since an increasing number of bears have been frequenting the area. This is the closest campground to Vail. You’ve probably heard of the place, but if not, you should know the village is a site to behold and it boasts the third-largest ski mountain in North America.
