A propane fire pit is always available and allowed year-round.
Wood fires are permitted in our two fire rings when conditions allow — during storms, wind events, or restrictions, bans may apply. Propane fires remain fully permitted so you’ll always have a warm place to gather.

Snow, ice, and storms are common on Mt. Hood. AWD/4x4 is recommended, especially after fresh snowfall or freeze–thaw cycles. Please arrive before dark when possible and be aware of natural forest conditions, including falling branches during weather events.
