Our property is an outdoor enthusiasts haven, surrounded by walking, hiking & cycling trails on the side of one of BC's most beautiful swimming lakes. We offer onsite boat and paddleboard rentals as well as a private dock, seasonal onsite yoga classes. Our property also features a large lagoon that doubles as a natural wildlife and bird sanctuary and the property is home to hundreds of birds, both wild and tame. You'll also see beavers, otters, deer, raccoons, squirrels, and more! Our renowned onsite restaurant, La Trattoria Italiana, offers authentic Northern Italian cuisine, with both indoor lakeview dining as well as outdoor seating on our covered waterfront patio.

Equipped with two double beds, including linens, and light summer blankets, this tent can sleep up to a maximum of 4 guests. This tent features a private forest and mountain view balcony. Please note that this tent hosts a maximum of 4 guests. Please also note that this tent is a little further from the main washroom facilities, and parking is a short walk away. These tents are pet friendly and your furry friends are welcome to stay at a rate of +$20/night. A 2-night minimum booking policy applies at all times.

Please add this as an extra at the time of booking.Please note that this cabin is walk-in, with parking located close by. Built from 100% salvaged wood, our queen wood cabin is located on a mossy knoll and features an electric fireplace and a private covered balcony and parking directly behind the cabin. This tiny cabin has a queen bed including linens and blankets, plus a mattress with linens & blanket in a loft accessible with a ladder. Please note that this sleeping loft is quite small and is only suitable for children. This wood cabin can sleep up to three people (2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children).Please note that this cabin is not pet friendly. Please note that we do have a 2-night minimum booking policy applicable at all times.

Rainforest Safari Tent

This is the most private and romantic of all of our safari-style tents. Featuring a king-sized bed, electric fireplace, and some basic furniture. This tent comes with a large private lagoon-view balcony, its very own private fenced yard and an outdoor yoga/relaxation platform. There is also an additional mosquito-netted tent and patio area with a coffee machine. You also have a private outdoor cold water shower, sink, and a private porta-loo, as well as access to the main communal washroom facilities with hot showers and flush toilets. Daily housekeeping services are provided in our Rainforest Tent. On one of the most private and lovely spots on the property, overlooking our lagoon and wildlife sanctuary, this one is a serene recluse in the forest. Closer to the lagoon, lake and restaurant than all of the other tents, please note that this tent is also adjoined to the upper property via a somewhat steep trail. Our Rainforest Tent is walk-in, with the parking spot being located at the top of the trail - requiring a certain degree of physical ability, level of fitness, and enthusiasm! Warmest lake in Canada

King Wood Cabin

Ruby resort is a very lovely place!! We didn’t stay in the king cabin, instead in the family Safari tent because it was all they had left. They apparently don’t use hipcamp much so the availability listed is not accurate. I was bummed we were in a tent rather than a cabin & around small children but We had a nice stay! Ruby lake is the warmest lake in Canada!! We paddled all day every day. Incredibly magical place. Highly recommend!
