Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers so we could enjoy a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall. Primitive camping where you can pick your own scenic spot. We will furnish picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and charcoal grill during your campout. Welcome!

Primitive camping where when you arrive, you can pick your own scenic spot. All primative sites are first come, first serve. Sites are furnished with picnic tables, fire rings, garbage can, and charcoal grills during your campout. Each site is unique and has its own character. Enjoy the seclusion of Hones Pointe. It's located in a valley on the Little Kentucky River. The property has been landscaped over the past 35 years. River banks are full of fossils, and wildlife is abundant. This area is newly constructed, so there is very little shade. Sites are near the petting zoo and have a path for access to the Little Kentucky River.

Stayed just one night. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. Looks like it is a fun place. Playgrounds, volleyball badminton shelter house with smoker etc.
