Very clean cabins with east access to bathrooms/showes; quiet and peaceful setting yet a short walk into an adorable downtown
I unfortunately had to cancel my planned trip at the last minute due to a sudden hospitalization. Joyce from Camp AG was remarkably compassionate, understanding, and supportive throughout the entire cancellation process—she even took the time to check in on my recovery.
While I wasn't able to stay on-site this time around, Joyce's kindness and genuine care speak volumes about the management. It is clear that Camp AG is a fantastic community, and I am truly looking forward to finally visiting in the future!

We had a great experience staying here! Everything was just as pictured, and the restrooms and bathrooms were clean. It was quiet and peaceful, with plenty of space between the cabins, so we felt like we had good privacy. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Nice, clean, safe grounds. Stayed at #1 Christiansen Family Cabin and was pleased by the amount of space we had. I have a two wheel drive car and was able to park at the base in a parking lot and walked up to the cabin easily. Food is easily accessible nearby. Next time I’ll bring a fan to cool things off a little faster. Will be back.

Loved staying at camp arroyo grande again. Great amenities, clean bathroom, and my kids loved the pool. Also we enjoyed watching the wild turkeys and deer on site. Everything was close for us too: grocery store, beach, avila farms, and pismo. Easy place to stay with your family.
Had a great time. Very clean and cute. Would definitely stay again. There is electricity in the cabins which I wasn’t sure about when booking. The wild turkeys were a hoot!

This was perfect for us. We tent camp and spend almost all of our time out in nature. Inexpensive, easy access.
Camp Arroyo Grande is very close to the main street of Arroyo Grande, however it feels very far away because it is quiet and calm. I stayed at night camping in my truck and visited my friends and family during the day. I really appreciated the reasonable rate, the clean showers and bathrooms. Wild turkeys also stopped by my campsite and there was plenty of places to walk my dog.

Our stay was great! Very quiet. We would stay here again!!
I didn't make it there. I could never get signed into the app even after trying for an hour and so I couldn't reach them at the camp to let them know.
We stayed in flood #5, the grounds were beautiful, the pool was closed when we arrived so the host opened it and even extended the time by an hour for the inconvenience! Our cabin was spacious and clean, they even provided a little space heater. The manager was very friendly and helpful, we are planning to come back every year !

Clean, easy, affordable and accessible. It's a great stop.
We had a wonderful stay at Gillespie lodge! The central location makes this camp ideal for coastal adventures. It had plenty of space for our family with three bedrooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was very clean and, while it had minimal supplies, it had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bathrooms were thoughtfully laid out and worked well for our group.
The beds varied a bit in comfort, but everyone slept well and they were all comfortably adequate.
This was our third stay here, and Joyce was just as welcoming and kind as always. She is a wonderful host and always makes us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this lodge!

We had an amazing time! Very attentive and fast responses for everything!
2 person tent camped for 1 night. bathrooms were clean. joyce was a nice, respectful, and helpful staff member who we saw once in the evening and once in the morning. I believe we were the only guests this late spring night but it was super quiet. We had some wild turkey visitors that were harmless and kept their distance. there is one designated campfire pit for this location that is a 30 second pace away from where we popped our tent. could be a good way to meet other campers unless you are more reserved or like campfires closer to your camp.

Economical. A simple cabin at a nice site. Our family enjoyed walking from the cabin to get a pizza dinner at a nearby restaurant and hiking the nature trail the next morning.

BEST HIDDEN GEM right off the freeway- you would NEVER know. Feels miles away from civilization and so welcoming and relaxing! Can’t wait to bring friends and come back again and again! Joyce was the sweetest and coolest Host!

1st time to stay in one of the basic cabins, so convenient and easy compared to pitching the tent.
Camp Arroyo Grande is so pretty and conveniently located(a hidden gem)
The bathroom facilities near the Tabernacle are top notch!

Campsite was nice, bathroom was close and clean, the gounds are beautiful, close to fun stuff, and the host was very nice! Even had a great tree to hang my hammock. I plan to go back.
The views from here are outstanding, I took my dog for a walk down to the village and grabbed a coffee and enjoyed the beautiful weather after a rainstorm.
The heater in the room was sufficient enough to heat the cabin. I would recommend bringing a table with you, this is glamping but you still need to have items as if you were tent camping.
We usually bring sleeping bags and pillows, blankets and/or sheets. There were very little guests there during our trip and I had the men’s facilities all to myself in the morning before 7 am.
This is extremely valuable compared to the hotels/motels in the area and is a great way to experience Arroyo’s beautiful city and surrounding areas. It is close to everything and if you’re a walker, there’s nice trials onsite that lead you offsite.
We’ll be back to experience there awesome grounds again.
