Quarry Brook offers a mixed bag of experiences for campers. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful, secluded location and the charm of the quarry, which is great for swimming and exploring. However, some guests have noted maintenance issues, such as overgrown trails and lack of cleanliness, which can detract from the overall experience. The hosts are generally seen as accommodating and friendly, but there have been occasional lapses in communication.

Beautiful spot in the mountains. We loved our chat with the host. Easy access and a special spot under a giant oak tree.

Excellent communication from hosts. Very private, wooded tent site on leaf litter, I’d say 200 yards from parking site. Driveway would not accommodate a low clearance vehicle. Tent site was large enough to easily accommodate a 19x10 foot tent, though the ground had a very slight grade. Fire ring was good size. Site includes a picnic table and pop-up outhouse with 5g bucket- though we did not utilize this. We did not hear any road noise. Lots of awesome owls in the area. The quarry and surrounding woods are beautiful. Would certainly consider a return visit, though I would bring a smaller tent to improve the ability to pitch on a completely level spot.

This was our second year camping here. We enjoyed our time just as much as the first! The Quarry was so warm, and easy to access by trail, and car. Tara continues to be a generous and accommodating host! Hoping to continue our yearly tradition in 2027! Thanks again!
