Beautiful property to camp on. Bruce was very responsive and had freshly mowed for our arrival. Our group had a great time and the indoor rooms were perfect for some that couldn’t be bothered with a tent.

We loved this site! We were 2 families and it was just perfect. Although being self sufficient we loved the added option of undercover area and room.
So many different bird sounds with all the little fairy wrens a special extra.
So close to so many amazing attractions and wineries too

Thanks Bruce for a fantastic stay. The cabin was great as the weather was chilly, with plenty of firewood delivered to keep us warm for the week. Kenzie the Staffy loved making friends with the cows next door, and going for walks to the dam.
We had some friends join us for the weekend which stayed in the cabin rooms, so having toilets and sinks with running water was handy. Everyone had such a great time that we are already planning the next trip.

Wonderful peaceful spot, Bruce had the wood fireplace burning in the hut which was wonderful for some of us arriving after dark. Very close to Paradise Falls. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The convenience of the shelter when it rained, the privacy of having an exclusive site, the proximity of some great local cafes (a short drive away), and the gorgeous cows that visited at dusk, were all highlights. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone, but especially larger groups as there is space for all. Ground was flat and ideal for tent camping. Large fire pit with ample seating. Easy to find the property and instructions were clear, Thanks Bruce!

Lovely quiet exclusive spot in a beautiful part of Victoria, easy to find with good flat ground to set up our camper trailer. Our son and dog also loved it, lots of room to run around. We will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your property Bruce.

Great place we keep coming back to. Provides easy camping option with bonus hut / shelter and rain water. Lots of birds and pretty views. Great location to get away from the craziness of Easter yet easy access to everything the King Valley has to offer.

We loved our stay at Wabonga! Thanks Bruce. We were planning on camping out, but arrived late on the first day & ended up using the beds in the cabin. That worked so well, that we kept doing it for the rest of our stay. All the facilities worked well. We loved having some space to relax at a busy time of year. There are some great activities nearby, like a trip to the lake, a swim in the river, or a walk to the falls. The nearby general store has a good selection of essentials. All round excellent option for a relaxed camping trip.

We loved staying at Wobonga! The bird life is incredible at the site - wrens, starlings, magpies, rosellas, lorikeets - and the view of the mountains from the deck of the cabin is very relaxing. We set up tent on even, green grass - its well maintained. The toilets are basic but fine. The fire place is really well set up. And the cabin itself made washing dishes and preparing meals easier., and a great place to shelter in poor weather.

This was our second time staying at Wabonga and was just as great as the first if not better. Bruce's site is so well maintained, set up and peaceful. It is a great base for exploring the beautiful King Valley with Paradise Falls and Lake William Hovel only a 10-15 minute drive away. Hoping to be back as soon as we can fit another long weekend in.

What a great Hipcamp!! Easy to find, close to so many activities and attractions. But it still felt like you were miles away from anyone. The undercover area a massive bonus and the toilets as well. Definitely will be going back to this one!

Such a lovely tranquil spot - you have the place to yourself - you only have to share it with the fairy wrens. Great composting toilet. Feels like you’re very alone here - would recommend!

We stayed at Wabonga for 3 nights and it was just perfect. You do really have the place to yourselves. There are some nice flat options for pitching a tent and your group will be the only group on the property. Really handy to have the communal area with running water, gas stove, drop toilet and table and chairs. Great central location to the king river and king valley wineries. Also short drive to William Hovell Dam (great for a swim) and Paradise Falls (stunning picnic spot). We also enjoyed just sitting on the porch and relaxing in the peace and quiet. Thanks Bruce we had a terrific stay and hope to be back soon !

Great spot, would be especially good for large groups! The amenities are a little run down and one toilet was blocked, but other than that, a great camp. Close to the shops and the high country tracks! Super quiet as well.

This is a gorgeous property in a gorgeous part of Victoria. Although we enjoyed it as two people, this site would come into its own with a big group. It has extensive shelter and lots of flat land for pitching tents. The owner was friendly. It's worth noting that the campsite is (easy) walking distance from the dam, but not right next to it (the dam is stunningly beautiful and worth the walk).

Bruce has an amazing property and location, suitable for campers and groups of all sizes, plenty of space for each. Also the amenities incl communal kitchen area (with wood burner) and three basic indoor rooms make it equipped for any weather.
We had some roos greeting us in the morning and an abundance of birds as well.
Very lovely place and Paradise Falls nearby.
