Stayed at Creek Side, Private Swimming Hole on Hipcamp and really loved it. Such a peaceful little spot surrounded by nature. The swimming hole was definitely the highlight — nice and refreshing and perfect for just relaxing by the water.
The campsite felt private and quiet, which made it a great place to switch off for a bit. Everything was tidy and just as described. Would definitely recommend if you're after a simple, relaxing place to camp by the creek.

From the moment we got there, our family felt the connection with the land and nature. An amazing private camp location right beside by the creek. Green grass., crystal clear waters, a swimming hole, and shady trees for those sunny days. Turtles, platypus, eels, catfish, crayfish, an abundance of different birds, plus the chickens a cow (and calf on the way) were all fun for the kids.
There is also a great cafe 5 minutes down the road.
We look forward to coming back. Georgie and her kids are beautiful and amazing hosts. I highly recommend an extended stay at Crystal Creek.

The camp area was really well looked after and tidy, amenities were great toilet and shower clean. There was a little less water than I would have liked bit it was still running. This was just mother nature. Great little area, Thanks Georgie I would recommend your place to other guests wanting a nice quiet place to stay.

We had a great extended family weekend at Georgie's,was wonderful to have the area to ourselves and the toilet and shower made it that much easier. The kids feed the chooks each day and named the cow!! Creek was shallow bur still water to play in. We will ve back.

We had such a wonderful time at Georgie's property. This campsite felt like a peaceful oasis, we loved our swims in the creek and being surrounded by such beautiful nature. Such a bonus having a hot shower and flushing toilet too. We loved that it's a private site too, what a special place. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely quiet campsite right next to the creek. Despite it being January and with cattle around we had almost no flies or mosquitoes. The creek is clear, but shallow so good to sit in, but no swimming. The camp shower and flushing toilet were a bonus. If you have young children there is barbed wire on the other side of the creek and the site is surrounded by electric fences. Just something to be aware of. They weren’t a real problem for us. For a relaxing break it certainly was a great spot.

Absolutely stunning place with swimming/ sitting spots in the river. It was so quiet and we all had the best sleep ever. Loved the vegi garden too and the free ranged eggs . Definitely coming back. And your friend was amazing and helpful with anything. We loved her too 🥰

Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. We absolutely loved our stay here. Camping right by the creek was magic – falling asleep to the sound of running water, waking up to birds and green hills all around. The kids spent hours swimming and exploring.
The site had plenty of room to spread out and being the only campers there made it even easier to settle in to relax mode.
If you’re after a nature-filled escape where you can properly switch off, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent five beautiful restorative nights at Upper Crystal Creek — the perfect place to slow. Peaceful, spacious, and dog-friendly, with our own private creek and shady grass. Fire pit, private shower and toilet made it even better. Georgie is a friendly host. Have already booked our return trip 🌿🐾

Lovely, peaceful, relaxing location by the creek. Plenty of space. We like that the owners only take one booking at a time. Our kids loved playing in the creek and being in nature all day. The only downside was a few March flies.

What a beautiful location.
There was plenty of room and a lovely little creek. The kids loved building little dams and playing in the water.
We got to enjoy watching all the creatures in the water come alive at night. The amenities were clean and very rustic.

Lovely spot! Great communication! This is my 2nd time at Crystal Creek.
Unfortunately the rain was too much that my dog and I had to depart early. Will come back next time!

Absolutely sublime 🫶 so relaxing camping next to the creek and very peaceful ✌️ highly recommend the sauna and cold plunge in the creek after, that was a highlight.
Had the best time, didn't want to leave.

Lovely site right on the creek (although not much water in the creek when we were there following a dry spell, but enough to have a cool off on a hot day). Nice large grassy flat site with lovely view over creek and hills (also fun watching the cows in neighbouring property!). Had a lovely relaxing stay. Will also bring the bikes next time, with a 15 min drive to the cycle trail.

Our host Georgie was lovely and her property is serene
We had access to a toilet and hot shower as well
There was also a sauna at an extra cost and firewood available too at an extra cost

Caravaning in Serenity!

Ideal spot for a ´shakedown’ of our new 20’ caravan. Easy access & plenty of room to manoeuvre the van. Lovely setting right beside the creek, nice & level & beautifully kept grass areas. 2 fire pits ready to go & fire wood available for purchase from Georgie (but bring your own kindling & fire lighters). Enjoy the sights & sounds of cows, kookaburras, cockatoos, magpies & various other locals! Georgie only books the campsite for 1 group at a time, so we had the place to ourselves & just loved the solitude. We stayed for 4 nights & spent our days reading, biking (electric mountain bikes) & walking. Even took our small dog in a basket on the bike down to the local cafe for a coffee - it’s only 5kms each way. All in all, highly recommended.
